I can't emphasize enough, this is not an ARG, nor is any of it my material (other than the vid, which saves me the time of typing the phone book in order to explain). You forum regulars have seen this back to at least Feb. and farther back on the older version of the forum that got deleted.

Yes, I know about the 42 year old in Ft. Myers. I posted about it last night (search "Myers" in the forum search box). Yes, that is who I think this person is. However, regardless, they made what sounds almost like a suicide statement in the most recent (Aug 12) video. That, in and of itself is odd, along with all the other stuff this person has written.

This is not an ARG, of mine at least. I wouldn't make one with a connection to an actual child abduction (even in name). Not funny. Not cool.

I am just trying to get to the bottom of this. That's all.

 		Besides, Shane Watson never shows himself in his ARGs, as he keeps them strictly TINAG. However, he would never use the name of a missing person. It's not in his personality, and his ARGs tend to be more psychological/psychedelic in nature, rather than realistic. Shane is being totally honest here. He is not the one behind all of these messages. He's been receiving them for over a year and a half now.

This is creeping us all out. It is most definitely not a game by Shane Watson, that much is certain. At first, we thought these messages were an attempt at an ARG, or some sort of misguided/late ARG-jacking, trying to catch the attention of the SilverLadder group. As of late, the messages have been more delusional, more violent, and filled with suicide threats.

Precisely because of this thread. He didn't want anyone to think it was a game. But yet, someone managed to. So as to avoid having that situation repeat itself, he deleted it.

Well he went about it all the wrong way then. Instead of actually taking it to the cops or something, he goes on the internet and tells people to go to his ARG forum and read the messages there, he also said that it COULD be an ARG. Near the end of the video he even mentioned the phrase "this is not a game" which is pretty much the motto behind all ARGs.

 		He explained in the forum why he didn't contact authorities. This may very well just be someone trolling him. Taking this situation to the cops with the evidence as it stands now is a recipe for being arrested for false reporting. What is there to take to the cops right now? Had you checked the threads the guy posted instead of anonymously sniping on here, you'd have seen that.

 		Yes people lets try not to jump to conclusions or be cruel to someone who has a great reputation and having participated in SL way back when I think I can safely say he means it when he says it's not an arg.

 		He probably is telling the truth, but I was just saying that he went about it in a way that seemed like a setup for an ARG.

An old puppetmaster (SL, VITS, Hallucinine) left a contact page up on his site.
He starts getting emails through this page from a delusional, possibly insane person. Her last email sounded a lot like a suicide note.
We want to find her and get her some help. Check out the SL forum. But I'm saying this: THIS IS NOT A GAME.
