I got a little nudge recently from a "The Dude" at drunknuts.com, pointing me to an interesting communication...

The book, Amazing Tales From Beyond, is supposedly a "transmedia book of some sort", also crossing multiple millennia, "from the warped mind of C.A. Arroyo"

Current whois records:
Fuzebird.com is Fuzebird Idea Factory, registered by Arroyo in 2008
Drunknuts.com was registered in 2009 by Fuzebird Idea Factory
Amazingtalesfrombeyond.com was registered in 2010 by Fuzebird and Arroyo
Tikibumhammocks.com (and tikibum.com) was registered in 2010 by Fuzebird and Arroyo
Gratitudebliss.com was registered in 2007 though transferred to Fuzebird and Arroyo in 2009 (according to 'more info' on fuzebird.com)
Fastjoe.com was registered in 2005 by Fuzebird and Arroyo and redirects to fuzebird.com (perhaps also attained recently by fuzebird)
45125.com was registered by Fuzebird in 2008


It's hard to tell if Fuzebird is IG or Arroyo's real media company, and whether the other sites and links from it are related to 45125, but on Fuzebird.com site you'll see an animated warp spiral that links to 45125.com.
At this point I think the book and Arroyo are self-contained, since Fuzebird says it's essentially a media company, sounding like it is the group (owned by Arroyo) running this viral/arg.

I haven't looked deeper to see if there's further to go, however drunknuts.com has a passcode entry page on its front page; 7 digits in length. 45125 doesn't work. "More info" on fuzebird.com has the latest update in March 2009.


eta: To clarify, "The Dude" contacted me back in march asking me about 45125.com and if it possibly belonged to the Tron ARG. I said likely not, and pointed him to Unfiction to look around and feel free to post a new thread here if it's a new arg. I guess he didn't, but this week he emailed again noting that there's now the transmission which appears on the website. Considering he's emailing from drunknuts.com which is hosted by fuzebird.com, I'm pretty sure "The Dude" is involved, but why it took two months to get to this point, dunno.

I really don't know what to make of this. Looking at Fuzebird, it has the credentials to be the PMs, and this mysterious C. A. Arroyo might be promote his business and his book (the "Amazing Stories" one) by inserting himself in to the game.

But every other site reeks of ARG. Especially considering on the "Drunk Nuts" site...

The "Tiki Bum" is a real merchant site, complete with PayPal link. I can buy a hammock for $35 (I'm in Miami... I already have one).

 		The graphic for "Fast Joe Apparel" looks very similar to the ARGonauts t-shirt up for purchase here. The cafepress link was posted in the "we must party" t-shirt thread in the Super 8 section of the forum. Is seems too coincidental for my tastes unless I missed some meme at some point.

He's being followed by 500 people and follows close to 2,000... So it's not a new account.

Honestly, I'd be disappointed if he had posted in another forum with what could be IG material. I'm really baffled as to what is IG here, though.

www.secretmindpower.com and www.the100thhuman.com seem to be actual websites. So if I had to guess, Fuzebird is marketing 30-minutes to Happiness but maybe it's not necessarily IG. At least not in THIS game.

I think the only IG elements so far are http://45125.com , http://amazingtalesfrombeyond.com , and *possibly* http://drunknuts.com Dunno

I think that http://amazingtalesfrombeyond.com/ is the PRODUCT - not necessarily an IG site - and the other two are IG.

Maybe it is a decent ARG... possibly just one that's too tied to selling things, but that's just a possibility.
