Found these at TRU in Goodyear AZ, 3.99 each, picked up a Recognizer and Sams Light cycle,these come 12 to a case. Saw the larger Kevin Flynns light cycle too.

So, I have the first wave of the $3.99 die cast figures:

Sam's Light Cycle
Flynn's Light Cycle
Clu's Light Cycle
Clu's Sentry's Light Cycle
Clu's Command Ship
Recognizer
Light Runner

I highly recommend them to all fans and collectors.

I couldn't find any figures; as predicted, psychic toy hunters cleared them out before I got there. I did manage to get Sam's Light Disc, Kevin Flynn's Light Cycle (large one) and the Light Cycle Pursuit set. I totally opened it up for me and my daughter to play with, but the die-cast lot is going in a display case :3

darn called the Target, Walmart and TRU in the area (clear lake area south of Houston) and nobody has gotten anything in yet. so jealous of all you who have already bought the toys.

I had a brilliant thought while riding the metro home this afternoon. What if Rinzler gets one of the action figures that have the LED helmets that reveal the face? We could find out who he is before the movie comes out....

called around in Houston and it seems like no Toys R Us in Texas have gotten them. the guy was nice enough to look up the UPC I had from the Tron-sector thread. according to the computer they should be sent out for distribution soon, but he couldn't say when since there was no ship date in the system. man I guess I will be patient since I really don't want to pay the Entertainment Earth or Toywhiz markup let alone ebay.

Because I know how Disney is and how they are connected in their marketing. I knew this was going to happen even though nothing has been officially announced yet. Tron is coming in LEGOs. Expect the Official announcement in DEC.

I can't wait to get the LEGOS when they're finally released. Was part of an event not long ago and there were people tied with the company in attendance. At the time they said there was nothing coming out, BUT new things were being worked on. Down the road there could be a line, but at the time there was nothing. I agree, they've gotta put them out, it makes sense to do it.
