While they're at it, it would help to have them in extended sizes for us larger guys. 3xl would be amazing. Tried to get one through Cafe Press and it was a POS iron on transfer. Complete crap.

Just got my Razer Tron gaming mouse. Very nice. Packaging and extras are very well done. even comes with a piece of smoke plexiglass with Tron Legacy logo printed on it which covers the mouse.

I am so sad that is open face. Maybe if we're good they will make a Tron Legacy themed closed face helmet to go with the moto gear? But that Ruby one is so cute.

Nice helmet!

BTW, I posted this in Tron Sector, I'll post it here for those who haven't seen it. I got the ice-watch ltd edition Tron Legacy version:

Crap Toys
That Baton is a Joke

Anyone else grab a "Only at Target" Lightcycle launching Baton?
I got one and immediately took it back as it didn't appear to work. The replacement did exactly the same thing and the instructions aren't clear.
Is the proper/only way to launch the bike simply to slam it on the floor? That's the only way the two I got work.

I'm actually turning it into a plasma katana for opening night, but I should be able to keep the original function. Is the 2nd one bad, as well?

As long as we're asking questions about the toys, does anyone notice the skunky plastic smell that comes from the delux disk? It's like the rubber edge plastic isn't dry yet. pew..

Yeah, for the price, the SpinMaster stuff does leave a lot to be desired. Try getting your Kevin Flynn into the Kevin Flynn Lightcycle.

Go ahead... I'll wait.

saw the launcher at Target yesterday, not for me. I assumed you had to sling it or something. All the die-cast stuff and the figures are sweet, but the hands usually don't hold the discs properly.

I picked this up at the press screening of TRON Legacy in London on the Thursday just gone. It's a little folder that we can put our invites in. It also folds out to make a picture as well:

And here's one side of the ticket:

I saw a picture of someone in a Vancouver Toys R Us, and in the background mixed in with basic Sam discs, red Rinzler ones! So keep an eye out for more Wave 2 things like that.

And personally I love the Spinmaster stuff. You gotta' realize that this is mass production low price point toys for a mass market, you can't expect Palisades quality here on everything. I for one haven't had a problem with my figure, lightcycle, or my Discs. And hey, the Diecasts recognizer is all kinds of worth it right there!

So far the only Failure Link I see is the 4", priced too high for too small a scale. The only ones I will jump on is if I ever find Castor or Quorra. Other than that though, I think this is a solid line of toys. And I hope it does well.

Forsaking that, I hope I can grab lots of them on clearance at some point.

I finally had some time to go down to the Tron Pop-up Shop, very cool! I picked up the Adidas track jacket, pen, 12" Clu figure ( which is series 2), and the Han Cholo disc keychain.

The shop area inside Royal T is only about 15x15, but they have all the stuff there. With ever purchase you get a Tron Pop-up Shop coaster. If you can go I definitely recommend it!

Just curious, how much was the jacket and how much was the keychain?
