If there is anyone in the UK who has access to this set and could purchase and ship it to me, I would be forever in your debt. Apparently it is a Disney Store UK exclusive.
...Son of a Bit. Now I'm even more envious of the UK.

EDIT: Wait, maybe I'm overreacting. Is that case different in any good way from the Reconizer case we have in the states?
Well first off it has tanks... we don't have tanks.

Also, as of this morning i am the proud owner of 6 of these. And of course, I thought i'd share with you folks first!

I kind of like the idea of a raffle. I've been wanting to see one for a while now. Since these run about $40 each, plus shipping from UK, plus shipping to the winner, plus a little thank you to our buyer in the UK... I was thinking, how about $40 per entry and I'll release a minimum of 4 (probably 5) of these. Any interest? If theres enough financial interest, I might be able to splash in the pull back lightcycles too (also getting 6).

A raffle sounds great! But I don't think you can "sell raffle tickets" without going through lottery regulations, especially on-line. How about making a raffle open to all with a quiz question like "How many letters are in the word tron", and asking people to make a DONATION of $40, with explicit instructions that donations are not required. I am still reasonably sure that everyone would "get the message" and choose to donate anyways, but by saying payment is not required, you wouldn't run into any trouble doing this. (By the way, this looks cool, I would donate and participate in the raffle).
If you want to gauge if there is enough "financial interest", just ask how many people would be willing to donate $40 for some cause, and then "decide" to have a raffle...

Just my thoughts

Just got butt raped on ePay today for one of those because I didn't think I'd be able to get one any other way. Still wanting to get one for my brother, so any way that can possibly happen would be nice.

I'd like to send a nice, big middle finger and special spot on my ass for Disney to kiss for not making this thing (or the pull back lightcycle) available in the US. No, we get that craptastic SpinMaster garbage.

Don't forget those of us who dropped serious coin to get the Soundtrack/poster deal, only to find out later that the UK version has an extra disc with 5 extra songs on it. Grr.

If someone notices if Target stars firesale-ing the Tron stuff, post here since I wanna get more stuff but list price is way too much.

EDIT: PM sent to socalsteve

Oh, I got suckered in by that farce, as well. Damaged poster crew and all. Glad Flynn Lives was so great to offset the myriad of balls being dropped on other aspects of Legacy's merchandise release.

Hey guys I just found this site and I'm really wanting to get both the bike and the reconiser (lol I love the misspelling o the package). So what I've been doing is trying to get the american disneystores to hear our plea.

Please make your voice heard at the social media sites especially the twitter account of the disneystore's president.

For anyone interested, the Three Man Light Jet that fits three Core figures is available at retail. I picked one up at Toys R Us for $27.99, but I heard they're also available at Target.

I've been email trying to pitch in. Got a reply from the Disney Store Prez saying there were no current plans so I asked him where else we could send a message. This was his reply.

"Go to disneystore.com and click "contact us" - you can send a note directly to the guest services team. Trust me, we read them!"

The best we can do is utilize every venue available and make our voice louder. It's our own side channel attack. ; )
