...And by manipulating their customer service to violate street dates, you are risking someone being disciplined, future street date items, and screwing the honest people that abide the street date and wait honestly for the item on the release day. All for your benefit.

Not cool.

If it were for my benefit I would not have posted it for everyone else. Just trying to help out those that wanna get the toys. Even if they wanna wait until Oct. 1st, these numbers will help them track the toys down in their area. Jeez, there really is no pleasing some people. Rolling Eyes

Yes. How dare we be ethical? Also, this isn't the forum for this type of stuff.

Yeah you're right, this doesn't belong here. In my excitement to share the news I posted it here. Hey Euchre since you're a mod here and are upset about this thread please just delete it, or any mod can for that matter. No big deal, I had already posted the info first elsewhere and its been appreciated there.

End of Line....................

I can't wait to get my hands on an identity disk. Thanks BlueTronWarrior, I didn't realize Target was going to be carrying them.

I for one second this! It's good to see that something like the identity disc will be getting a massive release!

You are going to be seeing the SpinMaster stuff in every store imaginable. If you saw How To Train Your Dragon or Last Airbender toys at a particular retailer, you will also see Tron Legacy there. I'll be hitting TRU and Target on release day and buying pretty much one of each thing at both stores. Then when the stuff inevitably goes on sale, I'll get adjustments and return what I don't open. Only way I can afford to collect all the crap I do. LOL.

That reminds me!

I may be mistaken but when I was on the show floor at SDCC, there was a TV above the counter at the Tron Booth flashing various info about merch and the trailers...I seem to remember seeing something flash briefly about some sort of Tron store opening in L.A.

Re: Target DPCI # for the Legacy Toys

Easiest way to use a DPCI: call your local store, ask for Guest Service, ask them to please check a DPCI # to see if the item is in stock (it won't be right now), if it's not in stock ask them to see if any surrounding stores have it available (their system can check that). If they do happen to have the item available, ask them nicley if they can pull it from the back and hold it at Guest Service for you. I have gotten many figures (Star Wars, GI Joe, Indiana Jones) this way, long before their street date. Good luck!!!

Actually if you have the DCPI you can look it up on: http://sites.target.com/site/en/spot/mobile.jsp

Just a few notes from an ex-Target employee. When it comes to toys sometimes they get shelved before release date (normally only a few days beforehand if it happens) but if not then employees are not to open boxes before release dates. Sometimes, when Target.com/the inventory system says something is in stock it isn't really. Also, when in store and you need something looked up (like if another store has something in stock) look for the employees with the holster/the giant clunky price gun, they can help you out. And if you go in the mornings sometimes you catch the stocking team still putting stuff up. They don't take offense to people asking if toys have already been stocked for the day (and if you make friends with a stocker they can keep an eye out and let you know when stuff is stocked/restocked).

I worked at Target 12 years ago and was the team lead for toys, I know how it works. Wink

Just scoring T-shirt designs on Threadless.com and cam across this one: http://www.threadless.com/submission/291832/Legacy_of_Flynn If it gets printed, I'm definitely buying to go along with my "My Other Ride is a Light Cycle" t-shirt
