[HUMOR] The solutions we've been missing! Well, I just got off the phone with one of the PMs.
As one would expect from such an evil genius, he knew everything just about everything about me: where I live, my personal phone number, the brand of toothpaste I use. . . . In fact, the only thing he didn't seem to know was what I was wearing.
...come to think of it, he was inordinately interested in that. Spent a lot of time asking me about it. Probably because it's the only thing he didn't know.
Anyway, you won't believe what he told me. He's gotten a bit tired of the whole subterfuge, so he went ahead and gave me an explanation of ALL THE PUZZLE SOLVES WE'VE MISSED! And since figuring something out for yourself can't possibly compare to having it revealed to you completely, I've decided to share it all with you.
First things first. The reason this PM was so disgruntled is that he is the one responsible for the Oct. 1 image at paintover. Of course, upon hearing this, I did what any of us would've done.
I threatened to kill him.
He shrugged it off, though, and then told me how he hid the information. It was so simple I couldn't believe it! I'll have to dig up the transcript I made and copy and paste it. Ah, here it is...[note to self: DO NOT FORGET TO PASTE IN TRANSCRIPT]
So that's how he hid it in the picture, along with the entire text of the King James Bible, the location of Jimmy Hoffa, and the secret of cold fusion.
Another thing we've been missing: all of the random poetry generators employed by Random were planted by the PMs from the very beginning! In fact, they all hold hidden messages! And the only reason we never saw it is that we never translated the poems into Tolkenian elvish! How could we have missed that?!
Let's see...what else...
Oh, yeah! The Metacortechs phone call! Turns out that if you play it backwards and remove alternate 30 second periods from the file, you distinctly hear the phrase "I bury Paul," followed by a cemetery address. A short bit of grave-robbing later and we'll have all sorts of new clues, in addition to a convenient dead body usable for whatever purpose we choose!
Oh, and we've been on ENTIRELY the wrong track with heismissing and sheismissing. In fact, they have nothing to do with the game! They're sort of personal ads, actually. A couple of the PMs met those people on a subway once, fell in love with them at first sight, but never got their names or addresses, and they've been trying to find them ever since. It's really kinda touching.
Oh, yeah. And Halloween was in blue because it's a holiday, and not due to anything important.

Re: [HUMOR] The solutions we've been missing! LOL... I really liked the "note to self: DO NOT FORGET TO PASTE IN TRANSCRIPT]" line......

Perhaps we should rename this thread to:
"[HUMOUR] the Simposons we've been missing"
no?
