What I'm wondering is, the main guy mentioned he called up his friend to translate, but his friend wasn't present at the meeting. Was he just gonna record everything his grandpa said and just sit there and stare at him with a blank look on his face until he told him to get out, or what? It seems a bit strange he would just walk in there, knowing his Grandpa only speaks German, and not bring any form of translator until after he leaves.

That was rather odd, but since Noah was going to NY for Milo's funeral and not his translator friend, who I assume was still in Florida, it was the best he could do I suppose...unless there's something else up...

I hate WOW with a passion. Though, it gets nerds to game themselves to death, so anything to aid natural selection is a good thing I suppose.

Hey, not all of us nerds play WOW. There are people who realize paying real money to play in a pretend world, for pretend money, is utterly ridiculous.

I really want to say that not all WoW players are addicts, either, but all the friends that I know who have it either play it obsessively or get cravings to play it again, if they quit. D:

Yes. It could be chocolate! Very Happy

It depends upon the situation, if I personally know that someone, maybe yes but if not, Of course my answer is no. We should not trust strangers. However delicious that food is, you should not accept it, even if it was a chocolate.

I've not posted here before, but I've been following the Marble Hornets thread and that led me to here.

I was glad to have at least something to watch in the MH hiatus, because IMO EverymanHYBRID just isn't that good, and this is more in tone with MH (probably because it's heavily 'influenced' by it). I was starting to think you guys were being too harsh on this series, I was quite getting to like it in it's own right. I mean, at first it was really obvious (with the videos being named similarly, and the first 'episode' having the paranoia, the cough, the distortions and the Operator symbol in the space of about a minute), but I started to get to like it. It was a lil derivative of MH still, but then... it steered away from Marble Hornets in this thing with his grandpa knowing about the slenderman when... I recognized the story. Like, word for word, from the original thread. And then I noticed you guys saw it too.

I can only hope that this guy is the guy who posted that original story on SA, otherwise that's a bad show, dude.

Anyway, I still subscribed on YouTube and followed him on Twitter (he posted yesterday, so at least this will probably be continuing for a while). I really don't think it's as good as MarbleHornets, but I'd still at least like to see where he takes things next.

New tweet:
"These noises are scaring the shit out of me. I'm filming tonight so I can try and catch what I'm hearing on tape. Posting my findings soon."

New vid soon?

Sounds like it! Hopefully it will be something that moves the story along, although the tweet sounds like will just be creepy shots of Slendy up in his business. Which will be entertaining in their own right Smile

I liked the Karl entry alright even though it was ripped verbatim from SomethingAwful. At least it was telling a story and not just "Milo flips out and runs away. Noah shrugs and goes on with his life" over and over. He really needs to start making this series his own, though, or it will get stale quick.

wow he's really paranoid and this one reminded me of the EMH dream video with MH Jay having masky intrude while he's asleep. Now he has a box sent to him by an unknown person.

Also that little mess up on the camera and then he wakes up at 3am coughing. Seems like he has slendy sickness.

Two issues I'm having:

1.) He talks WAAAY too much. Like, an absurd amount. In this kind of scenario, you really want the atmosphere and the environment to do the talking. It builds suspense and paranoia that way. Him saying "fuck" every three seconds kinda kills it a little bit (though I do understand that it's probably to calm himself down).

and 2.) Where are this kid's parents?! Do they know their son is running around the house in the middle of the night with a knife? He's yelling loud enough to wake somebody up, how the hell do they not hear him? Are they out of town, or are they just heavy sleepers?

All that aside, though, this is a pretty good entry. I like how he addressed the audiance at the beginning; don't see Jay doing that very often. And there is a good amount of suspense and fear building up, so I'll give credit to that.
