Was it just me, or was the tape...moving?

It didn't look like it was just flowing from a fan or something. It looked like it was...I dunno...breathing?

Also, while trying to get the "message" to pause, I ended up getting a scratchy sketch of Slenderman instead.

I never would have expected that I'd finally stop lurking by posting in the Tribe Twelve thread. Shit just got real, indeed. XD

I see someone else beat me to the final image - which is good, as mine was really dark and hard to see. But while I was trying to capture the words at 1:39, I found something else that made me freak out juuuust a tad.

Oh dear Primus! ...I was hoping that, maybe, I would get to sleep in the wee hours of the morning... but now... no such luck. Laughing

Jeez, guys, good eyes. I had to do a frame-by-frame search for that- it is literally ONE SINGLE FRAME at 1:38.

...or was it good eyes? Maybe you were meant to find that frame....

Shocked

This unboxing entry is very interesting. It opens up many possibilities for the future of the series.

Also, that dv tape when Noah opened the box was genius. Creeped me the hell out. Surprised

Holy crap, those images are so creepy. If anything removes any doubt this is more than just some guy with a camera, a suit and some spare time in which to ripoff Marble Hornets, this is it.

Glad I found this thread, subscribed and followed him on Twitter now. This is getting awesome.

Am I the only one who thinks it's getting progressively less scary? He got a box of garbage, congratulations. The phone doesn't work, and I can see the 'He gets a phonecall on it even though it doesn't work' twist coming from a mile away. The cassette is totally broken, the piece of paper is generic Slenderman writing, and I don't think those parts are really going to do anything unless he brings them to a computer genius to put them together. Also, gee, no wonder the cops didn't find anyone, they took forever to get there and it probably wouldn't take even a normal person to run away after dropping the box there.

It's like he's trying not to rip off Marble Hornets and it's getting worse as time goes by.

I thought when he went out to shank Slenderman with his tiny knife was amazingly stupid. Not only is he deciding to attack something he knows is really scary, but he's doing it with the tiniest knife he could find? I have butter knives bigger than that. Why did he bother bringing his camera, too? Who brings a camera when they're planning to attack someone?

why would this entry be scary bro? unless like a pokemon jumped out the box.

Its similar Entry 19.5 in MH. That definitely wasnt supposed to be scary. And this one has distortion and crap which makes it scarier.

im definitely interested though. the rest of this series is gonna be orgasmic.

Are you one of those guys who over-analyzes something obviously fake to the point of trolling just for the sake of being captain obvious in lieu of searching for clues or postulating what is going on and will happen next? If so, no one cares.

I think he brought the camera because it was the only source of light he had on hand at the moment. Me, I keep an exceptionally bright (the package had a warning not to look into the lamps) LED flashlight by my bed for just such an occasion. The lights going out, not being hunted by faceless monsters from beyond reality.

As for the knife, same premise- the only weapon he had, and I don't think it's likely that he expected Slendy, but more realistically a prowler or other more human interloper. I don't think at the moment that he could really believe that Slender Man is anything other than a creepy tall guy in a suit.

Early prognostication: The electronics come from a demolished camera- perhaps the same one that recorded the unspooled DV tape.

Hate to be the naysayer but the only development iv seen is tribe 12 going from ripping off marble hornets to ripping off marble hornets, SA stories exactly, paranormal activities and EMH.

I severely doubt he didn't have a single other light source in his house. I mean, in the context of the story, sure, but it's still unrealistic. Same with the knife. He could have grabbed a kitchen knife of some sort. If you're going to bring a weapon with you, you may as well grab the best one you have. Even if he didn't think it was Slendy, he still should have gotten something a tiny bit bigger than a pocket knife, especially if he only had one hand free, he would probably make the guy laugh with his camera/pocket knife combo than scare him.

Do we REALLY need to nitpick the video? It's an ARG. Sit back and enjoy, and participate if you can. Critical thinking and extreme observation has it's time and place.
