Well I've had a little idea there. Some of the Slenderman stories include something like taking organs from his victims, the computer parts are pretty much the organs of a computer so... he got a box full of guts pretty much.

I live in the ghetto so...
But those chips, I'm not that computer smart so I am unsure if they can be plugged back in. I could check in like seven seconds though.

An interesting [and morbid] idea. It makes sense.

I think the phone is really meant to be there for receiving calls first and foremost. And maybe the screen was broken on purpose so that it would be impossible for Noah to tell who is calling.

Can't you get phones to read stuff as "Unknown caller/Blocked Number" and so on? But I guess breaking the screen's a bit easier, yeah.

Some random thoughts from a noob, about the "He knows what I have done". I would assume that "He" is Slender Man, and "I" is either Milo or Noah. Isn't this a new angle? I've thought about what it could mean, and while we don't have much information yet, I think it makes sense as a (possibly subconscious) thought that somehow got picked up by the camera.

I mean, if you find yourself stalked by something like this, you would probably ask yourself, "why me?". And if you have a guilty conscience for some reason - a Slender Man in your closet, so to speak - maybe that's what you will think: "He knows about it, he knows everything, he knows what I've done".

If you can't keep him out of your house, how do you know you can keep him out of your thoughts and memories? Maybe he sees everything you've ever thought and done. You could probably draw a parallel to Solaris here, but I won't.

I'm not saying that this is what Slender Man really is, I prefer to see him as something completely amoral and non-human. But it could be how someone who's stalked by him would interpret it. After all, your own interpretation is all you're left with, as he doesn't communicate in any way. Man, that parallel to Solaris is starting to get really tempting now.

Of course, I don't know if this is what TribeTwelve is going for, maybe it was just a red herring. Could be an interesting direction to go in, though.

As a side-note: notice that when he was dialing the number (or just after he dialed it), the cassette entrails started blowing in the wind. Whether that's coincidence or the sign of something more, I dunno!

Maybe the house key goes into his house? So it got left in the box to say "guess what? I can get into your house! Nyeh nyeh nyeh nyeh!"

On a side-note, I don't particularly like the acting in this one, especially the reactions to the various things; for example, see his reaction to "N(X)AH".

Also: I wonder why he didn't put a text caption at the end? I mean, it went straight into audio/visual distortion, so I would have expected "I don't know what happened at the end there" or something.

Best entry in the series so far. Quite nice.

Thing needs to take off now though. Those guys need to make their own stuff from now on.

Hey guys. I skimmed through this whole thread again to make sure no one found this first but I guess I am?

In Submission #1 (ancient I know) at about the 3:03 mark, it looks like our ol' pal is chillin all slender-like in the reflection of the TV. Wait...3:03 mark...it can't be...OH SHI-

I don't get the 303 thing also.

I do recall that Slendy appears in the TV's reflection towards the end of Submission #1, but I haven't seen it in a while.

It's extremely subtle. At 3:03, the TV turns off and the room is reflected in the dark glass. In the reflection in the doorway, you can see half of Slender Man and his arm. After Noah walks in front of the TV, you can see Slender Man's silhouette slip out of shot to the hallway.

Just compare shot 3:03, with shot 3:06 in 720p and you will shit brix.

Holy shit! I looked for that during the first viewing and never saw anything. Glad someone confirmed that there was a reflection indeed.

Oh, one other thing about this video that's slightly amusing to me, when he's running around with the knife, all I can think of is Pure Pwnage, with FPS Doug and his "everyone knows you run faster with the knife" thing, and logically, Counter Strike. The camera position, the hand with the knife jutting into shot, it all looks like a first person shooter.

Ah, so glad I wasn't the only one thinking that.

Personally, I kept thinking of Helloween's Let's PLay Dead Space with the whole "I know you're out there, you fucker" sort of ranting. It made me giggle...in a sortof half-hysterical way. xD

Also: was it an Unfictioner who made the TVTropes page for TribeTwelve? It's someone called "MichaelDj54", according to the edit history.

He's not an Unfictioner yet, I haven't been able to convince him to sign up, but he's a good friend of mine. ^^

That...is a /really/ disturbing thought, but it makes a lot of sense. Good catch. Here's hoping Noah can actually get something off them, though.

So bros, uh, as a collector of all things sharp, I feel the need to point something out.

The little switchblade caught a lot of flak for being small. "DERP DERP SHITTY POCKETKNIFE"
"why didn't he get a bigger knife i mean really"
etc etc

My smallest knife has a blade about an inch and a half long. It is also my sharpest. If it's dragged across a stack of papers, with nothing other than its own weight pressing it downwards, it will slice through 3-5 of them, depending on the paper.

My biggest knife has a twelve-inch blade, and I can swing it into my forearm with no visible harm done.

Perhaps it was the deadliest knife he had, even if it wasn't the biggest.

Just saying.
