Wasn't it heavily implied during the Formspring takeover that the Observer is a collective rather than just one individual?

I don't know if anyone else saw it, but when Ed lifted the thing there was some heavy distortion. For just a second you can see something in the doorway. Its gone as soon as he puts his hands down.

And for Ed being an observer. The way he was acting in some parts was awkward, but it could have just been poor acting. Also I don't think his face would be drawn out if he was. That seems to be because of helping Noah.

I dont buy the idea that Edward is the Observer, or part of it. There was distortion all over that video, including at the beginning when Noah was by himself. I dont think that Edward was the one causing it. Its prolly just another case of old Slendernommins being close by.

1. That'd be too obvious
2. He's too large
3. No glasses
4. The real Observer is at 1:19...

Thanks for the gif! I couldn't see it on my setup with my netbook.

Why doesn't Noah disconnect his computer from the internet to plug in the device? Or go to a public computer that has none of his stuff saved on it of he is worried about hacking. I know it might be loud, but to me, it seems his best bet.

Like I said, he could just disconnect his computer's harddrive and run a LiveCD like Puppy Linux that boots from RAM (and doesn't mount the harddrive in the first place, unless you tell it to), so that he could safely examine anything that's on it without it being able to affect his computer at all.

I'm personally willing to overlook the derp-ness, mostly because I don't understand much of it anyway.

Now for a bit of speculation, I'll try to keep it brief.
I've noticed that those weird scribbles over people's heads are becoming quite frequent lately. In comecloser (I think), you can see a scribbleheaded guy in front of Noah's house, who I suspect to be either the Observer or Noah himself. In the Corenthal-Asher polaroid, both the doctor and the Ashers have scribbleheads. In the hidden last frame of the analysis vid, a man of Edward's general build is seen with a scribbled head.

Though I'll bet that glasses dude is the true form of the Observer, I also think that the scribblehead people are related somehow. I'll bet it's either a sign that the Observer's watching them, or that they're a target for whatever happened to Milo.
