After all, Noah is Jewish, as (presumably) Milo and Karl are.

Also, my guess is that the gift is karl's/sebastian's journal. And Karl is dead.

My impression is that he's always known where it is, but couldn't physically obtain it. At least until they "repossessed" Noah to do it for them.

 		I don't see how the gift could be the journal. For all we know, Noah's spent his possession sleeping, gently cradled by the mothering tentacles of the Keeper. And even if he did find the time to visit Karl (who probably would be able to tell that Noah's possessed, and pull that brilliant not-opening-the-door defensive manouver again), it doesn't make sense that the Collective would let him keep it when they de-possess him. Even less so if it's the content of the journal that has made it possible for Karl to resist them.

Zombie Milo, or simply a video. That's my guess.
