Damn, I was on the edge of my seat for all of that. Very entertaining, and tremendous ending. I was really hoping for a Slender Man appearance, but that might've been tricky to pull off up to Noah's standards live in a dorm, without post-production effects. The big question is what will come next?

For those who missed the stream and don't want to sit through the recorded video, I wrote up a summary on the wiki: Link

Does anyone think that the gun used to kill John Fletcher was Noah's? Noah could possibly be blamed for both murders. Kat's murder had witnesses.

There are 3 black pieces (Keeper, Observer, Deadhead) and 5 white pieces (Firebrand, Cursor, Swain, Persolus, Mr. Scars). There were 2 white pawns separate from the other pieces in that "allofus" tweet. What if John Fletcher and Kat were those pawns? Their deaths caused them to be "captured". What if they join black? Then, the pieces will be even (5 vs. 5). What's the purpose of the teams, anyway? Is every piece a Collective member, or is it all of the people who are involved in the "game"?

Also, I think that Noah, if he's even on a team, is on white. If Firebrand is Milo and Cursor is Mary Asher, then the white team is mostly made up of the good guys (or former good guys). It might be possible that Milo's dad (not John Fletcher) is one of the members. Swain's outfit looks vaguely European (I think Noah said something like that) and kind of looks like a soldier's outfit, so Swain might be Sebastian.

But is Cursor really Mary? If she's still alive, then I don't think she can be a member of the Collective. Mr. Scars was called "theonewhokillsmary", which seems to suggest that she's not dead yet. But then there's that whole thing about the Collective existing outside of time...

Just a few things to consider.

If I may hazard as a guess as to what comes next, I'd say that we're going back to boardwalk pretty soon here. Noah is distraught over people dying because they got involved, and the only thing I can think of that might at least slow down the madness is going to the boardwalk. At least at that point we may get some more answers, and it's just about the only really pursuable loose end at the moment.

Just my thoughts, take them for what their worth.

I was kinda hoping when Noah asked the name of the game, Observer would respond "theangelsgame :>"

Damn, I caught most of it up until he got the call about John Fletcher, then I had to handle some crap around the house and missed everything except the final breakdown. Anyway, that chat screen was complete chaos (and my capslock shouting didn't help); I barely want to do one of these ever again. Between all the spamming and other crap, hardly anyone could get any decent questions answered.

Still, I did catch the bit where he started to freak out at the very end. The best part of that was the webcam with the girl at the very top, who was clutching/hiding behind her teddy bear with the scary stuff happened. You are totally cute, hidey-girl. Everyone else has pretty good "WTF?!!" reaction faces too, but the teddy bear did it for me.

As for theories about Noah being implicated or framed for the crime, I don't think it's terribly likely from a realistic perspective:

1. Noah likely has an alibi: Depending on the approximate time that the murder occurred, Noah is likely to be very capable of establishing his whereabouts. If the murders occurred during the livestream, he's got literally more than 1,000 people who could testify they were online with him at the time.

2. There's no confirmation that the gun was his, although that seems likely from a narrative perspective (missing gun, etc).

3. Unless the murder took place quite some time ago, it's going to be difficult to establish that a broke-ass college kid in Florida traveled to NY without anyone noticing or having a decent alibi for any missing time. This presumes that John Fletcher lives in NY/NJ or somewhere in New England and not in Florida.

4. Horses, not Zebras: Honestly, with a history of mental instability, and the victim being her ex-husband, the cops are going to probably going to focus on Mary.

Now, Kat is going to be something a bit different, although I think it would be reasonable to say that unless Noah has some very recent missing time, it's more likely that another of the collective did that.

I've got a few more thoughts, but they're still being assembled.

Quick thoughts on the collective pics

Firebrand - looks a lot like Milo. Stubborn because he wont stay dead? Either that or Noah, stubbirn because he wont do what the collective want

Deadhead - almost certainly a Nazi/the entity that put the ideas into the Nazis heads. Deadhead wad the symbol of the ss and he is described as the nationalist.

Persolus - no idea whatsoever...

Swain - old norse meaning servant. More recently been used to mean young suitor. This ties in to nickname of the lover. Appears to be wearing a napoloenic era military uniform.

Cursor - Mary Asher?

Mr Scars - not too much from the pic. Lady maybe? 'The one who kills Mary" and "the burdened" are interesting but not sure what it means at this stage.
