Warning, huge wall of text/personal theories incoming. Since they are separate they might contradict themselves at some point. I also made this account for posting this and I had to read through almost all the pages to make sure nobody did anything like this. So hai guys.

I don't think Noah can be part of the collective. In a formspring post the observer said that "one's mind and body must be perfect" and Noah currently is nothing along those lines. He's having mental breakdowns and I'm pretty sure his body has suffered from it too. If the observer knows the future then Noah must/will die on 11/11. However Adam said that it's not endgame so there might be a twist? Noah dies but somebody continues it (return of Milo perhaps?) or you get to see from the point of the collective if Adam throws loophole to the body/mind thing and Noah gets to join it. Although both will be quite lame. Then again he might throw a twist and neither happens, Noah somehow survives.

If he does survive then that will show that the observer/collective are not perfect? But I think that Slenderman is not as powerful as we all think he is...? My memory MIGHT be failing me but he doesn't appear that much when bad stuff happens (except maybe to survey) and he gets the observer/firebrand to do most of his dirty work. He might have gotten control over the members of the collective before they joined and forced them to join, maybe that's why the observer doesn't want another session? The observer also calls Slenderman "the keeper". What's slender keeping him from? Perhaps freedom? The collective might be under his control but actually might want a way out. Slendy doesn't show signs of wanting the book but the others from the collective do. Maybe they want a way out by destroying him with the book? Also grandpa Karl having the book but not giving it to Noah or Mary is a little bit fishy since they ARE family. But then again he is old and senile. He also might have done something with the book seeing as how he's crazy. Gave it to somebody, lost etc.

Another thing that strike me as weird is that in the "chess game" most of the white pieces are considered people noah knows (with the exception of observer/kevin being on the black side).

Firebrand: Milo or Noah from the future?
Cursor: Noah's mom or Mary?
Persolus: Grandpa Karl?
Swain: Unknown? Perhaps maybe one of the people Karl worked with or fought during WWII seeing as Swain has an english uniform and I can't really remember if Karl was a nazi or not.
Mr. Scars: John? Maybe Mary's first husband seeing as how John is milo's stepdad. Now that I think about it we never heard from Milo's real dad or maybe I'm forgetting and he's dead or missing.
