and i'd like to point out that what bothers me the most isn't the acting but the script. every single title card feels fake. "recreational area" instead of park, for instance

Honestly, I'm really not feeling this series. Now that the tape has run out hopefully they'll introduce something original. Anything original. I really don't even care how bad the original idea is. Make Slenderman's enemy a unicorn. But it's painful to watch a boring rehash of the same old Marble Hornets. Especially with Milo's annoying hair. And terrible acting skills. Maybe my frustration is increased by the Celtics' inability to make any shots. And Wallace's inability to not get fouls. /basketball rant

A google search shows its a wine, and I think the poster says "port" which would make sense.

This is actually pretty disappointing, honestly.

I did like the Slenderman sighting where the camera was upside-down. But, well, ok, my main problem has been brought up before and I did skip the page before this, and possibly the one before that one, but it really does bug me how he keeps going "I dunno why he is so afraid." Well, the fact he never mentions the man bugs me. There I said it. Even with the Weirdness Censor explanation, the fact he can't go "hmm, let me pause right before he freaks out and let me see if I see anything" kind of infuriated me. Especially in #5 and #4 where it is clear what Milo is freaking out about. I guess you could go "Invisible to Normals" rather than "Weirdness Censor", but I still think it would bother me because WE are adding excuses for plot holes and they haven't been weaved in naturally.

Also, the consistency. "I had never seen him so afraid before" followed by "Back then, I didn't think anything of the way Milo was acting", followed, of course, by "What's with the running?" at the beginning of tape 5. These kinds of holes seem more at home in parody than in something supposed to be semi-serious.

I honestly don't want to be this mean, but it just stirs up a Marble Hornet's nest of disbelief.

If it does turn out to be parody though, and in a future video we find Slenderman kicking back with a beer in a recliner at the end, maybe followed by a pan over to a couch occupied by Darkseid (dunno where you'd get a Darkseid costume though), I think I would be less angry.

You might attribute my anger to the fact I just started taking "Dextroamp-Amphet ER" but it's a fairly low dose (10mg) so I'm not sure if those rebuttals concerning how sensitive they may have theoretically made me would be valid.

I have an alternate explanation to the Weirdness Censor, mmhm.

Perhaps, mmhm, it is an ability of Noah to not see Slenderman, mmhm, even when he's on film? Like, say, Mr. Strahm of Seeking Truth couldn't see Slendy at any point until Inside the Labyrinth. This may be the time to repeat my "out of sight, out of mind" explanation: if you are not aware of Slenderman's presence, you can't see him without an aide. But in, mmhm, Noah's case, it's a little harder to get the idea into his "mind," so Slendy stays out of "sight." So his inability to see Slendy stretches even to video, so he just sees what he knows (since he was there) was the background. So he sees through Slendy, because his mental process exudes anti-Slendiness.

Alternatively, he's not watching the tapes before he posts them. I know I wouldn't watch something that I know by heart, moreso if it got me teared up (it is his cousin, after all).
