Hmm... That's an interesting point. Maybe he is Noah... That seems fairly possible. Only time will tell for sure though. But still I kind of like this theory.

Yeah, I don't think Firebrand is Milo, if only based on the fact that he's had no contact with his actor for a while now. It might originally have been him, but since he's not cooperating anymore, Noah might've needed to alter the original plot a bit.

Sure, he still has some backup footage, but I doubt that'd be enough to eventually make his non-blacked out appearance + subsequent appearances.

Firebrand is Noah's "best friend," but also says that Noah doesn't know him yet.
Firebrand is the white king, placing him in opposition to the Keeper, who is the Black King.
Firebrand is also referred to as "the stubborn one." Sound like anyone we know?
All that stuff about "our own saviors and enslavers" and time paradoxes points to Firebrand being Noah.


Also, if Milo is a member of the Collective, I think his most likely identity is Mr. Scars. His scars are representations of his own self-inflicted pain, caused by his mental illness. Likely, the Observer pushed Milo to commit suicide in order to force him to join the Collective.

Cursor is Noah's mom, the "white queen."
Deadhead is likely someone from Karl's time in WW2. Persolus might be Karl and something about the journal is preventing him from being an active agent against Noah. I dunno about that one.
Ditto on Swain.

Before me revamp, I had different colors for pieces. Now, I think it's safe to assume that all of the collective members are black pieces, and all of the white pieces are Noah, Milo and the rest of the humans.


This is from Adam's tumblr, I believe this solidifies a few theories. Also, Milo is one of the white pieces but which one?

 		Even though it's inevitable that Kevin will be revealed as the Observer, I wish he wasn't. He had no reason to be the Observer. Noah just kind of said, "OH BTW MY FRIEND KEVIN LOOKS LIKE THE OBSERVER." Personally, I was hoping that Liam would be the Observer.

 		I was also thinking it would be Liam until we saw Kevin last year. That said, Liam is still significant somehow, but it's hard to imagine who he could be amongst the Collective. Milo is likely one of the identified members, so if we are to believe he is Mr. Scars and future Noah is Firebrand, that doesn't really leave anyone for Liam. Cursor is female, Persolus is an elderly man/woman, and both Deadhead and Swain are from the World War II era or older.

The way I see it, it's like a field, and the collective can't get inside it, or if they can only their human host can (so they have no control over him). Didn't Noah mention that Karl never leaves his house? Perhaps Karl is persolus but because he's in the field he's just karl?

That's a very confusing topic haha. Maybe Karl isn't Persolus and he's still just using it to keep away the collective. Maybe Karl is Persolus and was waiting for the right time to give it to Noah since he's a white piece and since being in the collective he could see ahead of time. This is all very confusing and really I just want more Tribe Twelve ugh it's like they just add more mystery and it's killing me but i love it.

I think so to. Firebrand has always been by Noah's side ever since his childhood. He's looking out for Noah as much as he can.
