However, considering that the journal belonged to abgerman soldier, could the blade perhaps be a hitler jugend knife or some kind of ceremonial sword? Maybe the word blade is just symbolic.

I think i know what the collective want the journal for.

Since it contains forbidden knowledge it has something they don't want us to know, like how to use the blade Firebrand mentioned, it must have some ancient ritual or something. We know that this blade has leverage on the collective, like some sort of a paradox-fixing relic.

But what if it works the opposite way too?

What if the collective wants that blade to use it to cause paradoxes for people all over the world.... that must be what firebrand meant by "don't let it fall into the hands of the collective, or it's all over." I think that when he said that, he didn't mean by it's all over for just Noah and Firebrand.....I think that he meant that by it's ALL over, as in you guys, me, your friends, family, everyone. forced into the collective.

At first, when i theorized that Noah was firebrand, i thought that firebrand was just in it for himself to change history to ensure that he would never join the collective and have a normal life, but thinking about that blade now, It could be much MUCH bigger than we know.

I know it's a pretty far fetched theory, and i have no real proof. I've been wrong before, but I do think this makes some sort of sense. And for everyone's sake, I hope i'm wrong.

Didn't. The ss have the lull as a symbol? I am not trolling, but I see a connection, what if Carl was an ss member that posed ad a double agent and was part of the Thule society, amazing occultism group, that way, slenderman could be a ritual related accident.
