I had personally subscribed to the "Noah is Firebrand" theory for a while, but I must say, the way he presented it was just awesome. I like how it shows the perspective from what happened in the November 11, 2011 video. Speaking of which... in that video, Noah said "It can't be! That's impossible!" when he saw Firebrand. Did he have any suspicions about it before the Livestream event, or did he forget what happened at that moment or something? Either way, the Observer says Noah will soon remember something.

I'm Pretty sure noah lost his memory of that moment at the hotel, that's why he didn't know, and added to the shock on the livestream.

Last frame. This whole video... I don't even...

After all the tension and Noah breaking down, I freaking burst out laughing at this frame almost waking up my whole house and crying tears of laughter.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

I WAS FREAKING RIGHT
YESSSSSS
NOAH'S FIREBRAND
"Firebrand.... Me.... Th-thank you."
This is a complete mindfuck right about now xD
So Slenderman's the one who dragged Noah back... I thought it was the Observer.
Noah's drunk mood swings... Made me want to cry :<

I really like this video, it's effects for the sake of the story and not for the sake of effects.

That being said, I think it opens up more questions than answers them :

-So Firebrand is Noah after being 'taken' for the final time from a previous timeline? If the collective already have Noah as Firebrand why do they need him again? Did Noah not get the journal when they 'took' him so they're cheating and trying again?

-Good to see Firebrand retains Noah's penchant for 'colorful' language, judging by the picture though, anyone 'taken' or in the 'collective' seems to look like a skeleton dressed up as a human in 'Observer' vision.

-Why is Firebrand helping Noah? If he's in the 'collective', why should Noah trust him at all? Isn't it likely he's just doing his master's bidding or has been offered some sort of 'release' if he gets Noah v2 to bring the journal in?

-Where does this leave the Observer/Kevin? He seems to want the journal, but if he 'takes' Noah without the journal does his 'session' really end?

e: Durrr figured out the hotel footage was from 'November 11' and not 'Halloween Hotel'. Still raises some questions though:

-So Noah is pulled off the bed by ?(Observer or Firebrand, likely Observer), does his usual spaz, and then sees Firebrand in the doorway? Or is it Noah v2 from the future? It does look a lot like the observer, but we see Kevin pop out the troll face from under the bed. Why didn't Firebrand stop the observer last time?

-The camera paints Noah V2 in Observer-vision during the November 11th 2011 video, so what does this indicate? It was really Firebrand? Anyone touched or brought along with a member of the collective will also look like a skeleton dressed up like a human? Or was it really Firebrand, and not Noah V2 teleported into that doorway? Still a bit of a confusing part.

The next step seems to be to get the journal back in play, but to do that it sounds like some kind of external force will be needed, perhaps the 'Noah will remember something' bit that's been mentioned.

I'm proposing a theory here. Those of you who have seen Mirai Nikki/The Future Diary, this will make more sense. Either way I'm hoping this makes sense to everyone.

This theory is best explained in a timeline:

2012 A.D (World 1) = Noah is "taken" for the final time and is assimilated into the Collective as "Firebrand."

2012 A.D (World 2) = Noah (v2) has traveled through time a la the collective to secretly prevent observer from succeeding in turning him again. Perhaps something didn't go right in world 1, and now they would like to try again in the second world?

This would explain why Firebrand/Noah is somewhat frantic to make Noah (v2) understand what's at stake, because he's putting everything on the line to help change the future.

Wait so the Observer wanted Noah to deliver the ball to his past self? Wouldn't that mean the Observer knew that Firebrand/ Noah would take Noah back and show him all that?

I don't know if anyone here has noticed this. I just went back and watched "The Device" again.

Listen closely to the part with the closet. Very faintly, over all the banging, you can actually hear the "Oh my God! It's me! Noah!"

Remarkable how far in advance Adam planned all this.

His reaction when he figured out why he was transported to his closet was great. I love seeing stuff from a different perspective.

Wait, what was the deal with the closet scene? I didn't make that connection.

Also, you gotta love any Tribe Twelve video where nobody even mentions the crazy fucking Slender Man appearance. Amazing video, Adam.

This is what I'm thinking, but the real question is why. From The Observer's communications / Kevin's note, it seems like the 'target' will is completely subsumed during the 'session' process, so why can Firebrand actively resist The Observer?

Text in the video that Firebrand uploaded was cut out due to the 'Administrator', so clearly he's not gone 'rogue' and still has to play by the rules. So why help Noah V2 at all?

The only thing that makes sense to me is gaining his trust, which would lead into the theory that they're just trying to go in a different way to get the journal.

This makes the most sense to me actually, and it's similar to psychological interrogation techniques, to convince the subject that it's game over subjecting him to that trauma, and then reintroduce hope only to later be found out as coming from your captors to try and bend you to their will.

I didn't either at first. My friend pointed out to me that it was from "The Device".

Watch it again. You'll be shocked.

Ok, so we've verified that in fact it was Noah in the closet, but what is the significance? I might just be missing something fairly basic here, but why does it matter that he was in the closet with the ball?

Does that ball posess some sort of teleportation powers? Why was the observer able to be 'handled' if he knew Noah would be visiting his past self? That's the part that makes the least sense to me, if Observer knew Noah would receive 'help' from Firebrand why didn't he just come take him an hour earlier?

I'm thinking he DIDN'T know though. If my theory is correct, then this is the first timeline that Noah/Firebrand has intercepted him since the first timeline, observer was successful in turning him. So he probably didn't see it coming.
