But why would the Observer tell Noah "deliver this for me" if he had no idea that Noah would be taken back to the closet like that?

 		He delivered the ball to himself in the past, and in "The Device" you can hear Present Noah screamed faintly behind the banging. It's really eerie. Nobody noticed it the first time around but you can hear it.

Yeah that's what I figured. It's a cool touchstone for sure though.

The Nov 11th 2011 video seems to portray the person standing in the doorway as Noah is pulled back by Slendy as either the Observer or a member of the collective, so I guess the main question is really not if that's Noah, but which Noah? The breakdown from the livestream incident video seems to be:

-NoahV2 sees NoahV1/Firebrand
-NoahV2 moves towards NoahV1/Firebrand

Then, Noah[?1] is in the closet for the device video, screaming 'Oh my god, it's me Noah!'

Then, again Noah[?1] wakes up in the hotel hallway, goes to the room and sees Noah[?2] getting captured by Slendy.

So, which Noah was in the doorway?

I think this might be the key. Maybe the Observer expected Noah to deliver the ball to his past self in the 'Device' video, but didn't intend for Noah to appear in the hotel? Maybe that's where things went off the rails for Team Observer?

 		I'm not sure about this Noah 1 and Noah 2 business. I saw it as 1 timeline and as soon as Noah starts bouncing around in time, he does so as Firebrand. So it's Firebrand who delivers the ball and Firebrand who opens the hotel door. He recruits himself as I'm fairly convinced all Collective members do.

Having said that, it's 6 am and I've not slept, so I could be missing something obvious

 		In The Device at about 3:44 the words "you will soon remember" appear on the screen. I wasn't able to get a screen cap or a clear view of it, so my interpretation of it may be wrong.
It's mind blowing how far he planned this out.

One of the hidden final frames says "Firebrand remembers" too, can't remember which one though

EDIT: It was November 11th, which makes perfect sense.

Probably a long shot but if it has "magic powers" then maybe it can stop the Collective and whomever has it can be protected from them.

Am I crazy?

After Noah appeared in the hotel doorway, there was a hidden frame in Observer font which read "Delivered", which seems to imply that the Observer was in on this and knew that Firebrand would go back in time. There's is also an Observer message earlier in the vid which reads something along the lines of "Now you will remember", which again seems to suggest that the trip in time was part of the Observer's plan

I think you're talking about the "Lance of Longinus" or something. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holy_Lance Oh wait, it has many names. Oh well. XD

I like them, but I would make a coupl,e of alternations

Deadhead = Sebastian. Deadhead was described as "The Nationalist" and the Deadhead was the symbol of the SS, which fits Sebastian perfectly.

Swain = John Fletcher. Swain is old english for a male lover. John Fletcher was the male lover of Mary Asher, who I think is Cursor
