But like some other people, I can't get over the blatant copying of TTA. Confused

TribeTwelve started like MH, drifted away (which was GOOD), and now is drifting back to MH. Don't get me wrong, I like TT, but I wish it wasn't so much like MH.

Maybe I am just a bigger fan of MH that most. IDK, it was (and is) the only slendy story (or scary video in general) that actually freaked me out.

 		TT seems more ready to show tentacles and gore than MH. Which might be a cheap way to creep people out, but dang if they don't make it look fantastic.

 		I do enjoy the tentacles, but its starting to seem like an easy way to show Slender Man, without showing Slender Man.

It's not a blatant copy. What would make it a blatant copy would be if there was a series of creepy videos, on a different channel. This vid was longer, pretty straightforward, and mentioned "we" as apposed to just one "masky" character. Really, the only thing that makes them very similar would be the fact that it's a creepy, cryptic video. Whoopty-do. And they pulled it off well, so I'm not complaining. Rolling Eyes

Didn't you see the video were TTA hijacked Jay's account to post the video where he talked to him directly? And "We will wait for you no more"

Edit: And something tells me this is just one of many video's that will come out.

Totally agree. Even though there are similar motifs, I think TribeTwelve really makes this video their own. I thought more of another mysterious minion and not TTA, actually. The styles were different, anyone with half a brain can see that they are not the same style: TTA is more sporadic and choppy, whereas TT's mystery uploader uses threshold and very fluid transitions. Only hard-headed, close-minded people can't see the difference and appreciate the video for how well made it is.

although the premise of someone jacking his account posting cryptic messages loaded with nightmare fuel is copied, to me TT is more about the effects and the elaborate work that must go into editing the videos. The story may be leaning a little heavily on MH, but they've definitely taken the freaky editing and creepy camera effects things way farther than anyone else.

EverymanHYBRID had a bunch of videos like that. Ingame and OOG. And they made LESS sense than this one. Confused

This is how I feel exactly about TT. Just not liking the relying part too much. They could make it completely their own, but its taking them some time.

And EMH is just crazy videos 24/7.

 		Look, I'm not fond of the early TT videos myself - they were too much like the MH entries, except it was about two guys sort of ambling around not doing much rather than a bunch of friends actually working on a film project so it felt more directionless. But the last few have really managed to make it its own thing. It's not as distant from MH as, say, EMH is, but I feel that it's significantly more distinctive these days.

I doubt that the TribeTwelve crew will copy TTA anymore than they already have. They aren't that dumb. This will probably be the only "WTF I DIDN'T POST IT" video due to butthurt people who can't see past the fact it was done by MH first.
