[OT] Shady Suit

[She walked in. Most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Curly blond hair, red dress, high heels, and a waist line that artist have been trying to perfect since the dawn of ages.
"Oh detective, it's awful! You must help," she began to plead.
"Hold up, what's the problem madam?"
"My husband has vanished! Spirited away I fear! By some kind of monster!"
The dame seemed to be a bit out of her mind. I decided to fish for info and make sure these weren't the delusions of a drunken woman.
"Ma'am, have you been hitting the bottle? Down at the club perhaps?"
"I'm not mad I tell you, my husband is gone!"
"Alright, alright. Describe to me what happened"]

[She sighed deeply and pulled the shabby chair out of the corner. Her emerald green eyes scanned the room hastily. It never bothered me that it was untidy, and I kind of befriended the dust-bunnies. It was my kind of tidiness, and my usual customers did fit in very well. This lady, though, looked like a gem in an ashtray. Totally out of place-
�The police officers didn't believe me..." She broke in on my thoughts. Well, that explained how a beauty like her could end up in a place like this.
�Well, if you came up with that monster story, I can't blame them."
She gave me a killing glance and leaned back.]

Gee, I hope my english is good enough for this, but I'm willing to give it a try ^-^
I'm open for criticism, so don't hesitate to improve my english x]

Say wait a minute, what ever happened to these films anyway? I don't think I've seen one in...... yeah.

Well, I can't tell you, Stick.. But I've got the feeling, that there are always trends in movies. You know, like in - fashion or whatever. And it seems like these detective movies aren't "up to date" anymore.

[She took a deep breath as I leaned back in my chair. Keeping her eyes shut for a few second, as if trying to forget something. Finally she opened her eyes and stared at mine. She cleared her throat before finally speaking.
"I-I didn't know where else to go when the police rejected my story and threw me out. I-I knew I had to find someone. I found this place while running from........ from the thing."
"... How could you possibly expect me to believe a story like this. Monsters just aren-"
Suddenly the woman stands up and is staring out the window. I casually turn and look too. Nothing is there. She takes another deep breath and sits back down. I turn back to face her in my chair, raising my eyebrow in curiousity.]
