[PUZZLE] October 9 pictures at paintover

I took the name of the image, 00001001, and pasted it into a binary translator, and I got a whole bunch of nothing? Anyone have a good guess what the 00001001 means?

Well, the first picture was 00000001.jpg, the next was 00000100.jpg, and this one is 00001001.jpg

In base-10, those are 1, 4, and 9, with a couple interesting little properties. First, these were the dates on which they were posted (10/1, 10/4, and 10/9), and they're also perfect squares (1^2, 2^2, and 3^2).

Maybe we'll see another one on the 16th?

EDIT: My bad - the second pic came out in the wee hours of the 5th (unless you're on the west coast Smile

)

I took the file cabinet image with the black area and ran a FIND EDGES filter in photoshop, came up with a lot of dots in the black area, so the black area is not a true black..i dunno if this helps anyone

Here's something wacky: the smaller .jpg file (the one shown on paintover, NOT the big one with all the black space) has sides that are ratios of the larger one.

Er, the big one is 800x600, and the small one is 300x225. 800/300 = 600/225 = 8/3.

It's probably nothing, but you never know...
