Around what time do the ARG festivities usually happen? I'm thinking I might take a walk down to Flynn's after work on Friday, or maybe hang out there around lunch or something. XD

I'm a Christian and it's extremist guys like this that give the rest of us a bad name. He acts like Comic-Con and fandoms in general are some sort of cult.

I'm an atheist, and for the record, I think that calling on Batman and Superman is about as useful as calling on any god to "save the nation."

Moreso, even. Jesus only returned from the dead once. How many times have Batman and Superman done that? I don't think they even notice anymore.

This is a test of the emergency lampoon system.

Hey, I never heard of Jesus flying around the Earth so fast that he made time go backwards. ('Course, I suppose that doesn't mean he wasn't capable of doing so. Heck, doesn't mean I'm not capable of doing so!)
I'll betcha if he was around today he'd have a JLI. (Jesus League International)

Someone should have a screening of the original TRON at Comic Con. That would be fun one night. Perhaps at the park?

That's great! Is there anyone from the original TRON attending? Is it just a showing? Would you like me to see if Cindy Morgan (Lora/Yori from TRON) would like to attend for a Q&A? E-mail me at retrorandy at sbcglobal.net.

This is just one in a "Film Fest" type thing with around 30 films/TV Shows in various locations over four days for attendees. I've never gone to any of the them but I don't believe that it's anything more than a screening.

I'm gonna go by there later tonight, I don't think it's been lit up, but I will check. If it is, I'll get it.

That's 335 6th Street, San Diego, CA 92101. Correct?

VERY cool though...still might be fun to have Cindy show up and answer a few questions before or after if they don't mind. Will think about it.

For the record, I'll be at SDCC again this year (as I have for the past.. wow, 8 years now?). More than likely I'll be in the Hall H line between 7-7:30AM JUST to make sure.

It's really too bad SDCC doesn't give (non "accredited) Press special access to the room - I really hate waiting in that Hall H line :p Happily, the weather is expected to be mild the entire 4 days - partly cloudy and high's of 68 - so heat exhaustion isn't going to be an issue but bring your sunblock anyway Smile

If you're looking for me, I'll be the longhaired redhead with the grey fedora and PRESS badge tucked in the brim Smile Hope to see you there!
