Nah, just wear your ENCOM lanyards. Then people will know you're the big dog and you won't even have to stand in those silly lines. Wink

oh well...thought it was worth a try Smile

the only reason i was suggesting that is because i have to drive down that morning with my family from LA, which means to get there "early" id have to leave at around 4 or 5 am with no stops. luckily i think the hotels will let us add on one extra night before, so maybe we'll just go down Wednesday night and leave the hotel for the con at the same time as the people already in SD.

FYI: You CAN pick-up your badge on Wednesday, even if you do not have a Preview Night Pass. They'll be available at another location at Town & Country Hotel Convention Center (which is closer to Old Town I believe-- does that sound right, emeraldbacon?)… More info on this can be found here: http://www.comic-con.org/cci/cci10_addlsvc.php

Just thought this info would be helpful for you Mach1, as well as other SDCC attendees, in case you'll be around early and want to pick up your badge. It saves a lot of trouble and morning hours, especially when you're trying to get into Hall H, hehe!

As I mentioned way back when, I still plan to bring some signs similar to the ones I had at WonderCon. They will have different, newer designs, maybe make them more portable/foldable, but it really depends on what we hear from the FL peeps and what other plans there will be during that week-- would they stage another Encom infiltration? Who knows... Very Happy

Haha, you know, it would quite a sight to see a bunch of us together and decked out in all our TRON, Encom, FL gear… I've always been a bit intimidated by the 501st Legion, all those Ghostbusters, Twilight fans and their parents, whatevers. Wink

If there is any Flynn Lives stuff going on, it'll probably be OUTSIDE of the convention, meaning everyone would be able to participate. If you're in SoCal, a day-trip *might* be feasible... we'll have to see what's gonna happen. Smile

My entire family lives in SD, so I'll be down there just waiting for a FL event to happen even if it appears that there wont be one.

Speaking from experience last year: THIS. If Twilight happens to be on that day, then take all those times emerald just mentioned and double them or something.

I swear to god in TRON or something else epic gets screwed because of those Twif*gs this year they get staked.

If you're heading down the 15 to get there and they actually announce that they're gonna do something ARG related, I'd be interested.
Anyone know if they announced before hand last year that they were doing ARG stuff?

sounds like plenty of time to get things ready if you ask me.

...and yeah we can take the 5 or 15, not much difference there.
