i think we should chant flynn lives as the panel is ending and the filmmakers and actors walk off...that way we dont interrupt them in the middle of the panel...save the interruptions for encom, not for the film itself

I kinda like mach1monorail's idea about doing the chant near the end. Smile

As long as it doesn't carry on to interrupt what follows. I don't think we would want FL operatives to get a bad name over it. About 20 seconds worth ought to be enough.

Re: Alan Bradley

Since Bruce Boxleitner is going to be on the panel, surely someone should ask him about the SF live event... Mr. Green

(Possibly smart@$$ comments like this are the reason I have no postcard.)

"Hi, this question is for Mister Alan Bradley... Mr. Bradley, can you talk at all about the disturbances at the Encom press conference in San Francisco, back in April? The one that introduced Space Paranoids Online?"

(watchs Bruce Boxleitner laugh, shake his head, clear his throat, take a deep breath, then put on his game face) Officially, as a representative of and spokesperson for Encom, I cannot make any comment regarding the disturbances that evening. Unofficially... while I'm not thrilled about their methods, I'm glad to see that Kevin Flynn's work has touched the hearts of so many of his fans, and that - if he IS still out there, somewhere, waiting to be found - there's still SOMEONE looking for him.

Have you considered a career in speech writing? Very Happy

I hope someone thanks Bruce for keeping his sense of humor at the SF event: it was priceless when he reached the point in his speech where Sam should have appeared in the helicopter and neither had shown up:

Bruce: "I knew this would happen..." LOL

A friend of mine made a great point on Twitter:

Quote:
Remember kids, it's a fashion faux pas to wear your ENCOM badge with your FLYNN LIVES shirt next week. We don't want ENCOM catching on

Hence, why I'm going as an ENCOM EMPLOYEE (slacks, dress shirt & tie), with my Flynn Lives shirt on underneath. When it comes time for the rebellion, off comes the badge, out comes the shirt... Very Happy

As was suggested for the trip to San Francisco, I think there ought to be an abduction staged of a Flynn Lives supporter by an Encom vehicle. This is of course something you couldn't do in the hall itself, but it would be a funny follow up as some of you exit.

Or at random times, an attendee is quietly asked to step in the secret door behind an arcade game for an exclusive peek at something TRON-related. Very Happy
