Not that it was too hard....

I'm actually at work and didn't have the time to decode. These emails are being done on the sly as it is, man.

Let's put it this way... I'd better find this treasure because I'm probably going to get fired for all the time I put into finding it at work Wink

"gps"
ummmm

I don't understand why people think what mulligan has is a GPS. It is a 3rd generation ipod nano.

iPod?

It looks like an iPod to me... not a Magellan Mulligan has.

North by Northwest be the way to go? Or could it be South by Southeast?

when you look north in a mirror, are your heading south?

Well....on your compass the arrow always points north, so you see it pointing upwards if you are traveling with it or moving about with it(as you wouldn't walk backwards). Since the skull is upright, I would risk thinking it was one turn to the N-NW direction.

I meant to say that the arrow points forward(if you are traveling with it and following it)

[edit] after Mulligan's tweet, I am inclined to think it's an anagram...

Agreed. I LOVES his tweets.

In advance of the release of the sixth episode, as promised I have posted a compilation of the clues to date, as well as another post containing links to all of the maps and other images that have been created so far. I will try to keep both of these posts updated as the game progresses.

Bear's Brown Cola - It's Tops
possible anagrams

"Bear's Brown Cola - It's Tops" of course has many possible anagrams -- such as "Crows Nest Is Balboa Port"

Substituting Rocky for Balboa (for lack of a different brainstormed idea), if I were in NYC, for some fun, I would go to Pier 6 at Brooklyn Bridge Park and my beach toys would include a shovel (if it is permitted) and I would dig on the beach near the rocks.

Haven't posted this because I thought it probably was discussed previously, but searched and cannot find anything posted or on your map page. Apologize in advance if you did post about it. A long time ago I found this app:

http://www.mobypicture.com/user/143crowsnest/map

It says 7-7 10:00 (made in July?)
Somewhere when I first found it it said "x marks the spot" on it, now I just see the X by a dock. Odd thing is though it is of Amersterdam. If you zoom in it is a ship on a dock.

So what do you make of it? It has the photo of the pirates at MSNBC green room.

Edited: I thought maybe the 7-7 10:00 meant the "ED Show" as when you press on the app photo, it had the ed show in the background, but found the transcript for that day and it does not seem to apply. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38145822/ns/msnbc_tv-the_ed_show/

Mind The Gap
Subway Door Screen

I found a aite last nite that , way down in the links was this reference to MIND THE GAP, which is a screen to keep people from falling between the paltform and the train(in subway station?). Not sure exactly what these are.
Since he says Gap in your face, maybe there is a Larry King poster at a subways station? Or a subway station where Larry's Face is?
