Somewhere when I first found it it said "x marks the spot" on it, now I just see the X by a dock. Odd thing is though it is of Amersterdam. If you zoom in it is a ship on a dock.

So what do you make of it? It has the photo of the pirates at MSNBC green room.

Edited: I thought maybe the 7-7 10:00 meant the "ED Show" as when you press on the app photo, it had the ed show in the background, but found the transcript for that day and it does not seem to apply. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38145822/ns/msnbc_tv-the_ed_show/

Hi Palm,

This picture was posted to Mulligan's twitter on July 7, when the pirates appeared on MSNBC.

Mobypicture.com is based in Amsterdam and the x on the map marks their main office. I imagine this is the default setting for the map.

So I had joined that MobyPicture site and discovered how Mulligan sent that picture, with a phone that has capability to GPS tag where he was when he posted that pic...I don't have the download tho to see if he actually did that. Has anyone the capability to see if he tagged that photo?
When you have joined the site you can see below what he used(and a purple egg(leads to large egg) will show the way
Since the site is twitter friendly, It is possible that these guys are geotaggging each message they give. (where they are when they tweet)
Maybe i am reaching here, but Tutty is a Gund toy I believe, the easter bunny is being held by that toy....I think tutty could be an Easter reference, also referencing Geo eggs...geotags....hidden pics and hidden sat locations. It would go nicely with the wild goose chase and site seeing trip they are taking us on when chasing certain clues....Just thinking out loud..
An interesting discovery....You can spell out STATENISLAND to Toms 12 numbers and 6 of those numbers match, and 6 of them dont

A particular Ed
them british

has anyone noticed a few clues leading to a popular ED(ED is now me code) from the 80's?(not the ed show, the other ed)
I think he matches with the chess clues real nicely, with Bruce Cambell when you use one of his movie titles as well.
Hint about this: You would be pressed into spikes with it.
oh yeah, I downloaded vids wih high resolution...it helps to see whats missed in the site vids...but causing me to have some problems tho...
The frame by frame is hard to do and I can't get every frame. I then save them to Paint, where I also make an inverted copy(has shown some buildings)where I save them then to MY pictures.

 This just in.....

I was just watching the clip of them pirates on MSNBC and something struck me, the interviewer said "so there are eight episodes and eight clues" to which Crothers replies that's right. So now I'm thinking each episode has only one clue rather than many different clues as has been posted here. This cold be that the entire episode points to the clue or that the clue is somewhere in the video and the rest is just for entertainment purposes. Anyway, thought I should throw this bit of info out there. Any thoughts on this one? Can we have been collectively over thinking this whole thing? Ideas?

address for General Anasthetic
"P.O.Box 294, Casper, Wy, 82602"

The advertisement listed in the video for General Anasthetic is

"P.O.Box 294, Casper, Wy, 82602"

I will check to see on the map provided by jrc, I believe, whether there is a bridge 29482602. I believe they were all 8 digits beginning with two.

kevlar woven floss
possible anagrams

Here are the 2602 anagrams of the phrase "kevlar woven floss."

Nothing jumps out at me but the phrase is suspicious.

Mr. Nigel and Mr. Gibson
if understood as referring to Nigel Gibson

Mr. Nigel ... Mr. Gibson ...
Nigel Gibson was previously the Assistant Director of African Studies at Columbia University [2] and a Research Associate in African-American Studies at Harvard University[3]. He is currently Director of the Honors Program at Emerson College. From its website - "Founded in 1880, Emerson is one of the premier colleges in the United States for the study of communication and the arts."

Crothers tattoo in comic book on his muscled arm
ad is called "1994 prices in 2010

The character in the advertisement "1994 prices in 2010" may be pointing to a visual clue. Perhaps it is a metal grillwork. Crothers does draw attention to how he likes that the artist drew him with muscles.

gravestone epitaph inscription
cemetery scene

In the comic book, the gravestone says:

9-29-1758
10-21-1809
WITH ALL RESPECT

The battle of Trafalgar commenced on October 21 -- but it was 1805.

On each anniversary, they would celebrate his heroism -- see previous post about hasty puddings and how this may point again to MASTER AND COMMANDER (or the book on which it is based FAR SIDE OF THE WORLD). (As I recall, there is a quote taken directly from the book). The Captain of the "Surprise" was determined not to let the other ship escape the region given that it was so well built and powerful. So he reversed course and set sail south by southwest. I believe this scene was heavily clued back in the episode when we were at Columbus Circle (to include the deception involving the merchant flag with the yellow diamond on a green background), the fellow with the red coat who had his arm amputated etc..

that date is the date Nelso was born (9-29-1758)
but there is still the discrepancy of 4 years as to date of death

Lord Nelson was born September 29, 1758 -- just as indicated on the gravestone.

It seems to clearly clue Lord Nelson (and IMO "Far Side of the World").

The discussion at the table (as each year on the anniversary) was one of respect for Lord Nelson and his brilliance as a military strategist.

But I don't know of a reason for the discrepancy of 4 years as to the date of his death. (It might fit someone dying at an anniversary dinner - such as Johnny Longbottoms).

Nobunaga's fire
may be reference to video game, 1571 Nobunaga fire, or both

When Tom talks about singe like Nobunaga's fire, that may be a reference to both a fire in 1571 (Kyoto perhaps) and Nobunaga video game.
