Everyone is everywhere!

No one has successfully figured out Episode 3, 4 or 5 yet, IMHO.

Some are deep in Brooklyn, others on Staten Island.... some in or near the Bronx and some are still in Queens. One or two of us are still in Central Park, but the treasure is not there. It's not. It's not in Central Park. It's not. It's not there. Central Park = no treasure. No. Stop it. It's no there.

(sorry)

Agreed! Tom's episode (#4) goes between 6 and 7 based on Cruther's steady disintegration.

I think episode 3 was just to tell us to get on a blue subway line, and to introduce Glove and Boots. Mario and Fafa say "we're on the right track" when they're in the blue box on the top, after asking if it's a clue.

number 111

Well here is something random I found when typing one eye, one arm, one leg into google. I came up with this.....
The number 111 is sometimes called "a Nelson" after Admiral Nelson, who allegedly only had "One Eye, One Arm, One Leg" near the end of his life.
This is talking about Lord Nelson. I found it here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/111_(number)

It also goes onto say this which may interest some.
It is particularly known as a score in cricket. In cricket a score of 111 or multiples thereof (222 = "double nelson", 333 = "triple nelson" and so on) is considered unlucky.

So maybe then Crothers (one eye, one arm, one leg) and or his death could point to the numbers 111, 222, or 333 in some way as he was so unlucky. I do not know if it is applicable but I put it here in case.

I also note that the 111 on its side looks like the Japanese 3 and could be the trim on the missing sleeves that were cut off, and there were three bracelet looking things that were on his arm that was cut off. So it could mean 111 or 3 maybe.

Lord Nelson is frequently mentioned in the Patrick O'Brien series.

Central Park - distinguishing the key from the chest
to be clear, once again

The hypothesis was not that the treasure is in Central Park.

The hypothesis was that the key that opens the underground storage locking containing the treasure is. See MADDIE HAYES "Under the Rainbow" episode involving hidden gold coins.

I don't remember if you're local. Have you gone looking for your key yet?

Is there any other reason to believe there is a key than there being a key in an episode of Moonlighting? I don't get it Sad

Joining the discussion
This is my first post

I've been following this conversation since it started. Some of you I think are very smart and really onto some really clever ideas. Others, well...

I'm a Native New yorker and I live in Brooklyn. I know the city in and out.
I would be more than happy to do some recon or team up with some of you to investigate your theories/ideas. I'm not sure how we can communicate privately on a site such as this... But if anyone is interested Im sure you will let me know how to get in touch with you.

As for the videos and clues - IMO it's relatively easy to see whats an actual clue and what isn't. As to what they really mean... man, that's a totally different story.

My first question for the group: How did you determine such specific subway lines and stops? That has not made any sense to me whatsoever...

I'm looking forward to hearing from (some of) you folks, and Happy Hunting!

Any help with an idea on this?

Does anyone have any ideas on this one at all?

It's the Ram-O-Cam, as I said above.

Look where it says "Narrator 1: The bully from Great Britain.", introducing Crothers, and you'll see the sign behind him. It says RAM O' CAM. PUTS THE "B" IN YOUR MOVIE. AVAILABLE NOW AT S&R CAMERAS.

I think what SpyGuy is referring to is the effect of camera angles. The camera moves making the billboard appear to slide a bit.

Oh, that makes sense. They might be hitting them with their feet them as they kneel below the table level holding up the puppets?
