You know people are probably doing exactly that. I would be, if I had any clue where the treasure was! Oh episode 3, why did you and your subsequent episode friends become so obscure and confusing?

Sorting the "Real Clues" from the chaos
More for the point of trying to eliminate what ISN'T a clue

Episode 3

- The wall map behind Larry the King shows part of a NYC subway map
- The solid colors behind the guests suggest specific subway lines
- The wall map reveals more of the city of NY, specifically northern Queens and Rikers Island
- References to the 4 port of cortland
- CIRCUMSTANTIAL: The throwing star may be a placement on the map behind him on the wall.
- the Burning of Crothers blue hat
- There is another reference to Tutty and Mulligan in the Crow's Nest

Episode 4

- The Japanese character for "North" is shown in the upper right hand corner.
- Tom speaks in backwards English saying:
"Sometimes to follow the way, you must avoid the way you know"
- After "Clue 28" (Furlongs) appears on the screen Crothers exclaims" Now you've gone too far"

- Crothers is shown missing his left arm and is walking with a crutch. His condition suggests that this episode is out of sync, since Crothers injuries don't occur until Episode 6.

Does anyone have anything to add to these so far?
The new episode will be up in the next hour.

I'm doing just that - 'cept I got myself an android device!

In all seriousness - I will be surprised if it isnt found within 3 hours of release.

Episode 3 - Where it all went Wrong
New Thought

So since Episode 3 is where we all went crazy, I think I may have something to add, but unfortunately it does not answer any questions.

We all went a little nuts trying to figure out what the colors behind the characters meant as far as which subway line they were on.

I don't think they were clues to colors of subways, just that we were on the subway.

If you've ridden the NYC subway before, as I have (I'm a brooklyn-ite), you should know that the the pics more perfectly match the color of the seats.

I think this is still just a very simple way for the puppet-masters to tell us that we are on the subway.

It's the rest of the clues that confuse me. Especially the whole Port of Cortland and the many misspelled words. Does anyone have any thoughts on that?

Here's a pic of a subway car with the colored seats that I am talking about.

That seems to fit perfectly! Some of the trains have blue seats, too, but the ACE color seems to fit the background color from Mario and Fafa better.

I agree Solo but I do think that they were absolutely referring to the blue line at the end - the following video detailing where to head after. i'm in queens btw.

I personally hope they don't reveal the last video until late in the night - would make everything more fun an exciting - and difficult!

Still Lost

The only problem with all of this is that it still leaves me as lost as I was at any other point during this search.

I still do not see a single viable clue that tells you where to exit the subway. Never mind a few viable clues that tell you where to exit the subway if you think (like I still do a little) that they have taken two or more subways and eventually met back at a single location.

good luck and have fun tonight
I enjoyed the forum and benefited from the shared focus

UDbmas and jrc and everyone, good luck and have fun tonight. I envy those who are in NYC.

I wouldn't have even found my way from Balto to Columbus Circle without you folks leading the way.

I think we all agree on one thing: these puppeteers and their affiliates have put on an entertaining show and created very likable characters. I'm going to miss those little guys. I hope they get a show on television.

To Cats Meow

So where do you think the WPPPT video puts us, if we are supposed to end on the blue track? I am open to the possibility that we are on the A or C, but just not sure where we end up then?

Just stuck with a bunch of theories personally, but nothing locked down.

I had the same questions. I'm not seeing instructions from the videos to go downtown and then hop on a Queens-bound uptown train. Of course, I can barely find any instructions Smile

I thought the WPPPT video led us uptown on one of the blue lines. Anyone else? I'm going to get lonely waiting around with this shovel.
