find the flying bird
Follow That Bird

The movie Follow That Bird was all about finding Big Bird who had flown out to the midwest. The social worker thought he would be better off with folks of his own kind. So he was sent to live with the Dodo family. When they were interviewed, they remarked ohmigosh we're on tv we have to go and watch. And so they then ran off screen to watch tv just like the puppet did on Larry King's interview when he rushed off to tape it.

Big Bird left a note for the Dodo family saying that it had taken him 3 hours to fly out there and so he expected it to take 3 hours to get back. (problem was that he was walking and so all his friends had to try to find him).

Two benches in Literary Walk honor two of the directors to include Jim Henson.

As I've oft said, I think NELSON is being strongly clued and points to belvedere castle. As for what I would look for, it woudl be a manila folder. As for what I would do, I would travel the entire environs taking photos with a memory card holding 500 pics and canvass say 79th -83rd covering all the walkways. especially photgraphing numbers.

Spaniard: Crothers says "I have to take a crap" at the end of one of the episodes... and there is a bathroom in BELVEDERE CASTLE!! You can also see windows of the ship in the background, and there are windows at BELVEDERE CASTLE!!
Actually, there a bunch of movies where there are bathroom scenes, like "The Shining" when he tries to break into the bathroom, and I think this can lead back to BELVEDERE CASTLE.

I think the movie references are huge clues. Im sure these puppeteers tried to tie in clues to movies, so we all would have to buy Netflix and watch the 150 movie references you came up with. and all 150 lead to..BELVEDERE CASTLE.
Even though the puppeters said over 10 times that it is NOT in Central PArk...im going diggin anyway. lol

no offense

I think we can say conclusively that the treasure is nowhere in Central park, including Belvedere Castle. The puppet masters have made that painfully clear throughout this whole exercise.

I was being sarcastic... pointing out that Spaniard is drilling every single post after post after post making up clues to lead to Belvedere Castle. also the tying in of 100 movies, that really don't give clues ot anything.

While we sre in "Anybody checkcd out n " frame of mind: Did anyone check out the old Polo Grounds?

I mentioned Polo grounds(as I found all of the stages and locations(different stadiums) on those coins in that particular still frame....but I was mocked and pushed away from sharing all those. It is a waymark(3) of them that I have on my map.
Polo Grounds....imagine it on the roof there....in those appartments at the OLD polo grounds....

Did you measure 250 feet down the old firstbase line (shortest legit homerun length, and the length of the firstbase line to the upper-deck)? There is a building there, just behind PS 46. 250 feet seems to land at the SSW corner of the building. I don't know if the building is part of the school complex, part of Polo Grounds Towers, or neither.

I'm not saying it is there, I haven't looked except via Google Earth and online searching, and cannot get there any time soon, but it does fit a lot of the clues. And anyone thinking of the Polo Grounds might give it a go.

Those are project buidlings AKA ...don't go there!! lol The treasure is not on the roof of a project building.

R-train, Whitehall station escalators.
The ship is Hudson's Half Moon. Even though the panels are on both the up and down escalators, all the seagulls on both escalators fly up.

That is the "start of the ship", as in where the SI (as well as Brooklyn and Governor's Island) ferries start.

As a New Yorker who used to live up in Harlem.....let's just say, there is NO way some guy with ten thousand dollars would get out of that part of town without being robbed and beaten within an inch of his life.

No, not the apartment buildings. It looks like a low-rise, maybe part of the school? Does it have a separate gym or maybe a pool? Is there a grocery store or strip mall there? Push-pin is at 250 feet.

UDbmas: That looks as if it is the GYM to the school. you can tell by the shape, plus there is an outside basketball court right in front of it. I don't think they could bury it there.

SRK: Agreed!!!

All I know is that it is back to basics for me. I would love to know what Tom is saying in that last scene. It sounds foreign, but his mannerisms say something familiar...like, oh well, better luck next time? I cannot go over these videos until I know exactly what he is saying.
