again dentim

Thanks for the picture- I cannot believe that they left that like that. Little birdie clue seems just like the tram!

Good luck everyone-even Spyguy-you were the only one that I really held out hopes for-and this is coming from a NYer who is still stuck at the Maine Monument! Your clues were over my head, but then again, I am only 5'2"!

Undiscussed Clue

Apparently, according to this article: http://www.argn.com/2010/09/we_lost_our_gold_pirate_booty_still_at_large/

(we get a mention)

The cap'n says something about lending a "10-er". Alexander Hamilton is on the 10. He is from New York City.

Also, 28 furlongs is 3.5 miles. I think this was discussed, but its as pretty straightforward of a clue as there can be.

Wyoming telephone number
recording of Captain reading of lottery numbers

In episode 6 the comic book has an ad for General Anesthetic at the botton of the page is a telephone number and PO Box address in wyoming.....if you check the address on google maps it takes you to the words "Whatever it takes" and if you call the phone number it reportedly is a recording of Captain reading off lottery numbers....20, 17, 16, 14, 21, 12 and a Treasure ball of 8. (I haven't called it but noted previously that it was a real number).

Sonic: YES.. I did. I want to give a shout out to the Puppeteers for actually spending the time and MONEY to put this hunt together. I was SHOCKED when I found the "gift" from the pupeteers. It is 1000% legit ...and I would say has to be a clue in some way (as well as an obvious homage).
I would keep it to "yourself" for a while, until we really get "stuck" and may need some help on it. It is one of 2 clues that I am SHOCKED nobody has picked up on either. (because im not a great puzzle solver...but these 2 were obvious)

Out of curiosity...how do you know no one has picked up on it?
Maybe they just haven't posted it on the forums.
Also...how do you know it is 1000% legit?
You two should get your secret clues together and see if they are the same....maybe find this thing already!!
Good Luck Smile

the Wisconsin telephone number
is Captain's message mere homage to Lost or is it a clue?

20 17 16 14 21 12 8

Now let's consider if it is a clue and not merely a homage to "Lost"?

Note that in Episode 8 the Captain talks about "whatever it takes" they are going to get those times back. Given Missry points out on the forum tweleve that it leads to "whatever it takes" it seems that there may be a tie between these numbers and "times". What is the connection?

If you start adding and subtracting the Numbers you can make up almost any theory that you want.

This is why using arithmetic in deciding if a number counts as a clue is a somewhat pointless exercise, with some notable exceptions;

For example, 36 is the sum of the Numbers.

153538560 is the product of the Numbers.

But how do the numbers connect to time? (They don't, it would seem).

I am hampered because I have never seen "Lost".

So Missry, help me out here. I admire your initiative in calling the Wyoming number. Work with the hypothesis that it is an actual clue. How might the numbers might relate to time?

Do they relate to a subway schedule?

or 108 is the sum

as Missry on the Tweleve forum notes.

Not a tease. IF someone else has this ... I am hoping they put it together to mean something. I would think that would be Sonics reasoning as well.

It is 100% legit ... and maybe others have found it, but if that is the case, then they havent been sharing it for a reason. I'd like to let things play out for a few, and then pull it out. I havent figured out what to do with it.. but if the puppeteers are reading this... THEY know what the "gift" is, and thr reason I say "they put alot of money and time" into this hunt!!

The Subways in NY do not run on a schedule. The buses do, but only barely.
