If we saw the same thing, I agrees, it was so so sneaky! Have you found any similar things in other episodes? I haven't yet.

Hey! Share with the rest of the class! If nobody finds this thing by December, we'll ALL be digging in snow! lol

How is it...?

Nobody bothered to mention the fact that you can't "double down" in Texas Hold 'Em. Only in Blackjack can you do this.

Aright

One more observation, then I'm calling it a night. I've eaten wayyy to many leftover Chinese dumplings, and now it's time for a late night brandy lol

In episode 6, I think we should see what appears to be going on in the comic BEFORE the narration starts. I can't make out the word bubbles. Anyone?

Tom's Hat in the Poker Episode

I don't know if anyone touched on this observation, but it appears that there are numbers (or possibly letters) on Tom's hat. They are a little too small to catch just by pausing though. Can anyone else confirm this?

How do we decipher this one?
In several episodes I see writing

I have seen what looks like writing and like in the last video, I saw a symbol that appears to be in the same type of brown.
a good example of what looks like 2 words is found in episode one at 1:29, between the Captain and his mate on the window sill.
I do not have the greatest abilities, can someone with HD look at this and share with everyone please?

Hey, I wasn't always a greedy treasure hunter like some sort of modern-day Scrooge McDuck lol nay...once upon a time I took college classes about film studies.

More tasty observations: The obsession with the number 4. In episode 1, if you listen closely, you hear 4 gongs constantly while they bicker. Then in episode 2, Tom does his super hadooken, while counting to 4. Odd number to get ready to do something heroic...usually it's "on the count of 3." In episode 3, we're told there are 4 crew members (not including the parrot), and then there's the whole "4 docks" thing.

and 4 knocks

a few fleeting thoughts:

with Episode 4's:

1. CLUE 41

2. CLUE 42

3. CLUE 28 (FURLONGS)

4. CLUE 43

Is it possible that all this is saying is that the clues are all in order ...except the clues referring to distance/measurements?

Is it possible that there really is no significance to the numbers 41, 42, and 43 ... perhaps it just legit telling us "hey guys by this point you should be up to 43 clues" ?

In Episode One with the "Clue Of All Clues" ... if you freeze the video at 7:28 on Mulligan's foot drawing...has it been noticed that the red circled footprint overlaps the one on the top left; therefore it could imply that there's multiple people's footprints on that page?

In Ep 1 "there aint nothin sneaky about switching the C with the P" .. could there be any connection between this and Mulligans line a few episodes later "I really have to pee"? See/Sea?

Is there any significance to whether characters are right handed/left handed? For instance in Ep 1 ... Captain, Crothers, and Black Tom all appear to be left handed (Captain fires gun with left hand, Crothers throws sword at Mulligan with left hand, Black Tom swings katana left handed) .. whereas Mulligan appears to be right handed (crayon placed on right of page upon his drawing completion).

again ..just fleeting thoughts

But if ye ain't prepared ta shares ya knowledge 'ere then I ain't gonna gives ya nuthin' either...

What I be saying now is this. If ye don't stops ya stupid posts of "I got his 'gift' or clue or summit, but I ain't gonna tell no-one until theys tells me their secrets" then ya ain't gonna get anything outta me! I reeks'a too much scrabblin' to gets yeself more information than ya gots to give. If ye be that stuck, then only a fair sahrin' of info across the whole board is gonna help ye!

Kiwi.... please understand....

SpyGuy has soured the sharing of findings here, I think.

Everybody knows he is watching and nobody wants to fill him in on anything.

In my honest opinion? The hunt for this treasure has rightfully become a "mercantile" atmosphere.... much like the trading cards in Episode 6. I've got this, and you've got that..... let's compare!

Not only do I think it's fair, but it's also quite the nautical way (check ANY movie about seafarer's.... they all trade as they meet or pass.... ie: 'Waterworld' and the scene with the nectarines)... and I have a feeling that the puppeteers wanted this (hence the aforementioned trading cards).

As for SpyGuys ramblings? Keep em. His input was like a Tom Henke baseball card.

Although, I do understand.....

Kiwi...

I know you live in Australia and are trying to play online and be involved in the hunt, therefore strive off of info here.

You've been here long enough, man! Stop being a guest and join the forum. This way you can private message some of us and be in the know and exchange.

Like I said, I will continue to post some stuff I find, but may keep some nectarines for trade Wink

all those taking Capn Slim's approach should be boycotted
hoarders have ruined what otherwise was turning into a positive experience

Folks who adopt such a strategy seem not to realize that it is self-defeating and self-deluding.

Not really, he prompted me to look harder and I did and was rewarded. It was better than just being given the answer on a silver platter. I don't expect to win, the fun is in playing the game.
