Noted.

As always, Spaniard, a comprehensive read.

I have ALWAYS been a fan of them having two or three different END GAMES for you to put together.

However, I think it's important to at least find ONE first Smile

Spaniard. What are your thoughts on Episode 5?

Re: Black Tom biography
engagement to Mariko

biographer wrote:
Turning to random items from the biography of the puppeteers, Black Tom is engaged to Mariko Yashida. Mariko's cousin is Sunfire who has the ability to absorb sunlight, and convert it into superheated plasma which burst into flame on contact with the air. She could use her plasma to fire beams of scorching heat or powerful bursts of solar fire. She could fly close to 100 mph by surrounding herself with a corona of fire, and then pushing the flames downward in a tight jet of superheated gas, shooting her through the air like a missile. Sunfire could see heat, by shifting her range of vision from normal light to infrared light.

Where is this coming from?

Firefly

Good morning:

I know that you guys/gals are moving on to the WPPPT episode but wanted to mention something pertaining to Ep. 3-there is a sculpture in Flushing Meadows that is called the Rocketthrower. Don't know if that means anything to any of you but you can google a look at it.

Possibly irrelevant

This probably has nothing to do with anything, but I just noticed that Black Tom keeps re-appearing and disappearing from between the Captain and Crothers. Specifically with the whole chopping off of the arm thing.

Just something new I noticed and wanted to get out there.

Hi hi!

Hello!
I fell off the hunt with my grad program work. I'm catching up on the latest haps before heading off to class again. The Dekalb train of thought (heh) is pretty persuasive. Keep it up!

Rainy Day Blues

Not going to be able to make it to do my photo recon.

I've watched WPPPT like 5 times between last night and today.

About to leave the house for the day.

I'd say analyze the betting structure and the numbers they form. I know that was done a while ago, but did anyone actually analyze, or just list?

These are their starting amounts:
$4,810
$1,984
$1,869
$1,337

After each time they go all-in the amounts change to this:
$2,734
$3,821
$5,555
$7,174

Addresses? Subway Stops? Street and Avenue Corners?

What are the amounts being raised? Is there a grid formation?

What about the cards in relation to these numbers? Do they form a phone number? (Like the old fashioned KQ5-2734 type thing <--- I made this one up)

Thoughts in this direction?

Looking forward to see what you all come up with today.

Nice find. I'd do some pinochle research if anyone has a chance.

(warning: I can't watch the episode right now, I'm going by memory, please double-check details)

one thing that has always bothered me about the poker episode: the "win percentages" posted at the bottom next to each player's hand. First of all, they always add up to 99%, never 100... at first I thought maybe they were considering potential ties, but the probability of a tie is not always equal to 1%. Even weirder, the chance of Mulligan winning goes UP to 1% from ??? once the Holy Mackerel shows up on the turn, which doesn't make sense to me. Even if another Holy Mackerel card shows up on the river, Tom still has him beat with a full house. I think the only possible conclusion is that Holy Mackerel is some sort of wild card, so he has a possible straight? But then he just needs a ten or a jack, which has more than 1% probability.

So I'm thinking the percentages are not accurate, and are actually number clues.
