clues...you know the game...the reason we have this board?

If anyone wants to discuss actual clues PM me or something. Maybe we can get a chat set up. There are obviously a lot of people on this board tonight, maybe a few of us could get together and take a step back and try some new solutions.
It just doesnt seem like there is going to be a whole lot of productivity coming off these boards publicly.

New post?

Maybe just start a new post in the same forum toward actual clue talk?

Right. I see, pick on me because you can? Very mature.

1) What part of "I'm not talking about George" did you NOT understand? It was a general note to everyone to not try stalking these guys. And I stand by that statement.

2) I haven't been on this forum for a week or so, and have been catching up since yesterday, only to find this strange accusation?

I'm really at a sad loss for what to say.

Don't worry what anyone says. You are very useful in dialogue here. If we all focus, we can do it (find our answers-then we race at our own pace)by simply sharing info to solve our own answers. I see layers in this puzzle that have the same outcome. Maybe it is meant to be taken in different directions. What ever though, we must focus on being fair to each other and sharing what we want to share and not worry what others think or worrying if it is relevant. Any little thing may be the key. Maybe a lurker finds your info usefull. Any negative remarks can be overlooked. Share what you want and remember that there is always someone on your side, who appreciates what you have to give. The negative can just be fuzz.
I appreciate your input. I know what it is like to be ridiculed, so I will apoloigize for them, the wize crackers and the poop. Please remember, if they don't get it, they don't get it. =)

But yes... he did mention those three dots. It's a mathematical symbol meaning "therefore".

(if the dots are arranged in a triangle, you mean)
yes.
Maybe it means KILL THE PIGS...or a reference to a roasting of one...with an apple in the mouth(how I vision it)

Google Maps Oddity

I have another naive question. Why does Google Maps show an icon for Central Park at the corner of 5th Avenue and 60th Street in Brooklyn? I have seen other Google Map oddities posted on here, and I thought it might be related. It really could be nothing more than an oddity that I stumbled upon.

Oops!

... and gonorrhea was spelled (spelt?) wrong.

I wouldn't want to be accused of not having the ability to spell and therefore not have the ability to solve clues Smile

Cemetery

Hi, I've been lurking all along and now decided to post.

From the motifs and clues in episodes 7 and 8, I felt sure that the treasure was buried in a cemetery, and Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn was my first guess. Here's why:

1. Bird's Nest - the main entrance at Green-Wood is home to a bunch of wild parrots.
2. Crow's Nest - Battle Hill inside the cemetery is the highest point in Brooklyn. There is a tall pole monument at the top. I think this could be the crow's nest Mulligan has been talking about.
3. References to British and forts - The cemetery was a fort during the Revolutionary war.
4. Morse - in episode 8, the ghost of Crothers says to listen to Mulligan from the beginning. Well in episode 1 Mulligan is talking about Morse Code. Samuel Morse is buried at Green-Wood
5. Treason - In episode 7 the bird shouts "Treason!". Aaron Burr, who was tried for Treason, is buried in Green-Wood also.
6. Flight of the bird - JFK airport has a flight path that goes directly over the cemetery.

So with all these clues, I went over to Green-Wood on Sunday to take a look. My friends and I climbed Battle Hill and then counted 250 feet (well, paces) from the monument. We tried heading away from the main gait (away from the nest), also heading NNW, and then again following the direction of Air Traffic.

Since Tutty was buried with the treasure, I was hoping to find a tombstone with "Tutty" or "Totty" on it. No luck

But I did notice that all the trees in the park are labeled with the letter E and two numbers. I was hoping this would tie back in to Black Tom's episode, so I looked for 14 42 and 14 43. I found both, and they were within 250 feet of the "crow's nest" but I didn't see any other clues.

Back to the drawing board for me.
Any ideas?

Don't worry about him....you knew before you even posted that he would take it the wrong way and attack you....you said it that night. Just ignore the BS.

Okay... sooo......

Seriously. Where are we?

What is bothering us the most? What is unsolved? What can we pool our resources together and figure out?

Or are we just supposed to wait and see if this whole thing is actually a scam? Is that what we want to do?

I got my "backstage pic" from a twitter/tweet from a friend of a friend of the puppeteers. The other pics that were posted I have no idea where they came from, so, I have to admit I'm a little swayed by gameoverman's opinion. It seems a little too much. I was trying to use that pic to determine if the candlestick was designed to be a clue or not... while the other pics? They were posted with no reason but to what? I have no idea. I have no idea who that is in the photo, yet other people seem to know him.

I have to be honest, I'm a little dismayed.

Someone here posted about this place before but I never looked into it so I don't have anything to add about it but I do like your 4, 5 and 6.
