hmmmm

Aves/Avis is bird.

If they said "spiritus" it means breathing.

I can't quite make it out.

The Latin sounds to me like "spiritus amicus," which would be a friendly ghost (homage to Casper?). It could also be "spiritus avitus," which would be a grandfatherly spirit.

I'm not sure these guys know latin.

Its possible they may have been trying to say "friendly ghost", but it's grammatically wrong.

I mean... it has been 20 years since I took Latin, and I didn't quite pay attention then, either Smile

Roma in Italia est.

I bet that's the right one.

So.. in essence, they were saying "possessed".

3rd episode

Watching the 3rd episode again with the starting point columbus circle I'd just like to throw some ideas out there.

Obviously we are talking about subways here... thats where all the ports and mind the gap talk comes from. But which ports are we looking for?

There are two ways to read this as far as I can tell... you can take the "directions" from the ticker and try to apply them to the subway, which honestly I haven't tried yet.

OR you can try to do it by color. We have that conversation about 5 ports and not being able to see all 5 at the same time. We also have 5 screens at the end of the clip when the characters from the other site show on top.

There's orange orange yellow yellow and blue on top. Blue is on top, the blue lines are express trains and correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't the expresses closer to street level?

If my logic works out, I'm looking for a station accessed by a subway through one of the trains that goes through columbus that has connections to 2 orange lines, 2 yellow lines, and an express.

So far I haven't been able to find a connection there... but hope it sparks something out of one of you guys.

spiritus something

Listen to it again. It sounds like it has an L in the middle of the second word and I am almost sure it ends in CUS

Flags

I have seen some flags for the burroughs that have some latin on them. Maybe it is pointing to that with the latin.

I wonder is gameoverman is also VD?
cranky man...

Seriously, what was with that guy? He sounded like a simpleton who couldn't figure out a single clue to me...I like how he threatened to "break their wrists".
Maybe someone dug up his dead dog by accident instead of the gold.
