I was also thinking about cemeteries more. EC Segar, the Popeye creator, was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Santa Monica, CA. Reason enough to think they're pointing to Woodlawn in NYC? I tend to think the angel statue isn't much of a key, because those are pretty ubiquitous in cemeteries. (Although usually they're crying, and this one isn't. Hm.)

On a more random tangent, I noticed Tom's fave Tom Jones song is Delilah (in Ep 5), which made me think Samson, and Son of Sam...and Christine Freund, one of the Son of Sam's victims, is buried in Linden Hill Cemetery, which is at the end of Dekalb Avenue. This I realize is making some _very_ loose associations, but it's the best I could muster working off the idea that Dekalb is the Port of Cortland. (Uh, that and there's an Applebee's right above the Dekalb stop! Mostly joking.)

Son of Sam could also point to other various parts of Queens, where women were killed. BUT I also think maybe it's just funny that Tom likes Tom Jones, and the end. I only mention it here in case someone else has gone down this road and dug up more/different.

Didn't show up right...

I think that Woodlawn reference may be something. I did find myself in woodlawn for part of episode 6 also, so that really applies for me. Thanks for that find!

I know there are transcripts of the episodes. I just meant it would be nice just to have a list of all that Mulligan says in the episodes because we are suppose to listen to what he says. And it would be nice to have, in one place, all that the bird does.... reactions, movements, etc. That is what I meant.

Something like that might come in handy. If you get around to doing that and post it in the other forum, please let us know.

George Kaplan (the guy who has never contributed anything Confused ) ..already made that post on another thread. (unless he deleted it..which i dont blame him).

He made an actual compiling of all Mulligan says? Gee I missed it. I would do it but it would take some time. If I do get around to it I will post it. And I do think it would be very helpful so we don't have to keep rewatching things or writing them down.

Tammy, what I did was print out Fellowtravlers transcripts and blacked out everything except what Mulligan said. It was easier than re-writting it all down.

And it seems way too obvious, but the Bronx Zoo is up there too, to account for the gorilla, perhaps?

Go look at it on google maps.
Rainbow ( Maddie Hayes- Moonlighting episode " Somewhere Under the Rainbow" and Tutty's shirt that says Happy is in that shape) or C shape. The opposite of a smile is a frown. Think about it. It looks like a bite out of an apple too if you are following that lead.

The shape of Bronx also looks like Larry King (look at his shoulders how square in the videos) and the point where Tom throws the star would be at his shoulder which is exactly where Orchard Beach is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:New_York_City_location_Bronx.svg

I found a stage in the middle of the beach that looks like a ship. Go look at it on Google Earth. Here is a pic on wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orchard_Beach,_New_York

I thought it was in Brooklyn but I have thought a lot of things lately. The apple logo also is something I am chasing now too. Seems like I am always all over the place. I am at this point not excluding anything. Make fun of me if you will.

I "C" what you mean! (Oh, I crack myself up...) I hadn't been thinking of the C as a shape--that's an interesting angle.

But Tom's throwing star ends up in Queens in the Larry King episode, I'm pretty sure. There's the yellow line going north (the N/WnowQ), and the star lands to the right of that--so, somewhere in Astoria/Elmhurst. That's near where I live, and I can't think of anything with any significance right where the star is placed.

Monroeville Mall
Code of Conduct

This is probably not relevent to the hunt at all but I thouht it was funny so I wanted to post it. I was going through episode 3 AGAIN today and was sidetracked by the ticker, AGAIN.
Anyway....The ticker says that they don't let you take pictures inside of the mall so I went to the malls website to see the rules and I just can't believe the rules at this mall. I think my local malls only rules are no smoking and no skateboarding or something. In their Code of Conduct they list a million ridiculous things but they don't mention not taking pictures (unless I missed it?)
The last one has me baffled Confused
http://www.monroevillemall.com/shop/monroeville.nsf/CodeofConduct_English.pdf
The one that says you can't wear anything that impinges on the sensitivities of others in the mall. LOL wtf?

Welcome to central PA. We are lucky to live in or near NY, or Mass in some cases.

Thinking outside the box a little...... read this...

In 1977, George A. Romero began filming Dawn of the Dead on location at the Monroeville Mall. The Mall was used as a fortress to protect four human survivors from a world taken over by the walking dead. Romero used the location to its fullest, beautifully displaying the Mall and its vastness, almost giving the Mall a cavernous feel. The movie went on to become a huge hit worldwide, leaving legions of dedicated fans in its wake. Fans travel far and wide, sometimes from other countries, just to have a chance to visit the location.

Key words I see: fortress... fort? , 4 human survivors. walking dead.
In the ticker it says "they don't let you take pictures". It may just be a way of highlighting the picture of Crothers in the episode and to look more closely at it as a clue. Also the picture of Tutty.

Remember this could mean absolutely nothing too.

I also mailed them and recieved nothing back. Maybe they only sent it out to the first so many people?? Or only during the week that episode came out??

If that's the case then I think it would be safe to assume whatever it is you are sent (of course if you are sent something - I'm not entirely convinced, particularly it seems no one else has gotten anything either) doesn't represent a clue. I can't see them setting up the hunt in such a way as to only let a certain number of people really play. However, that is just my reading from what I think the type of person who would do this sort of hunt would be like.

Maybe it's not a clue then.

Think of it like this; any idea what the postage is to express mail something from WY to NY? About nine bucks. Pretend a hundred people mailed that thing in. Its already been proven these guys beg for money you really think theyre spending close to $1,000 on postage (plus the cost of tangible items to be mailed).

Person about the Mulligan transcript; I got what you were saying, was just saying in response that you could easily cut & paste it accordingly as all 8 episodes are already transcribed.

And seriously not trying to start anything with anyone but SON OF SAM? Really?
