"No one will ever believe you." - Bill Murray

On the advertised gloveandboots.com, the "vault" containing the precious archives was put out with the construction debris in a black garbage bag. Clicking on the red line on the black box (tv) led to the explanation in the "Pirates Stole Our Monies" by Mario and Fafa that LOST and DaVinci Code were the key clues. The red line on the black box similarly pointed to the location of the treasure. Fafa explains "summit" means the top of the Christmas tree -- it represents the true north.

http://www.gloveandboots.com

Simon Pegg, the captain's friend, is starring in the movie featuring TinTin (a Spielberg and Jackson movie) being released this Spring based on pirate adventure involving treasure in the globally loved Adventures of TinTin. (It is famous in Europe). That movie -- like the DaVinci code -- also features the rose line. You'll see from the Captain's Twitter account that Simon Pegg is the only person the Captain follows. So the clues to the rose line such as was featured in Dan Brown's book DaVinci Code were very compelling.

Now if everyone watches DA VINCI CODE as well as the forthcoming moving starring the Captains officially linked friend Simon Pegg -- it is a Spielberg/Jackson production both of whom are also known for their real talent -- you can see another application of the Roseline. The rose line is symbolically represented by the fleur-de-lis. (In the comic book, Crothers pointed to the fleur-de-lis tattoo on his arm).

Now the treasure, as I've previously suggested, perhaps was hidden under plastic colored balls as indicated by numerous visual and verbal clues. I have already sought to lay claim to the treasure under the code and honor of pirates (and Lord Nelson himself) -- as in the Moonlighting episode (see Maddie Hayes as name of ship) titled "Under the Rainbow".

Behind the Captain sobbing about his beloved lost Tutty is a picture of the Rockfeller Christmas tree rotated to the left. On his tissue box, are plastic hard balls in which the chest was first "buried" last November.

The solution to the webseries' treasure challenge follows the plot of The Adventures of TinTin, RedRackham's Treasure. The Captain's friend Simon Pegg will star as Inspector Thompson who, I believe, ironically is on a quest to find the escaped Bird. After an initial failure to find the treasure at the location marked on the map, Tin Tin explains: "The meridian from which you calculated the degrees of longitude was of course the Greenwich meridian. ... Supposing Sir Francis Haddock used a French chart... Then zero would be on the Paris meridian ...!" The Paris Meridian is known as the red line or rose line. (Apple is part of the rose family. Who knew?). In Red Rackham's Treasure, a cross on an island did not turn up the treasure and so our hero and his crew kept sailing. Their ship was the Sirius (or North Star). But then when the old papers were analyzed, Professor Cutbert Calculus realized that the treasure was in the Captain's home sweet (ancestral) home.

This is the same storyline as in the Muppets pirate movie in which the treascherous captain, after killing his crew that hid the treasure, burned the blue hat and dropped it into the fire. The treasure had been dug up and removed to the ex-girlfried of Captain Kermit. You had to know that Kermit's ex-girlfriend was Miss Piggy to locate the treasure. Join me now in a rousing chorus in with the two crabs, the octopus, the gorilla, the diamond-backed snake, and the rest of the crew to sing a rousing chorus of "Shiver My Timbers!" Jim Henson's memorial bench number is 10098, a New York City zipcode. (Sesame Street Director Stone, whose memorial bench, #10097, is next to the Jim Henson bench. Mr. Stone died of Lou Gehrig's disease ("luckiest man in the world" speech).)

The poster at 30 Rock behind the Captain is HARDBALL. Last week I claimed that clues pointed to the treasure chest first being hidden under the colored plastic balls in a mini-storage unit at 111 EMPIRE BOULEVARD in Brooklyn last November. It otherwise made no sense for them, according to press, to have buried it last November given that it is illegal to dig in NYC. This approach to the game, as I pointed out in early August, was suggested by the clue MADDIE HAYES (episode 2, "Under the Rainbow," involving a leprechaun hiding gold coins).

In addition to extensive visual imagery relating to colored balls and the actual mosh pit filled with balls and annual festivities, the ball solution was also heavily clued by pointers to the (1) Cleopatra's Needle and (2) the Perisphere and Trylon in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, and (3) pointers to the cement balls at Lenape Park at Marine Park. The Cleopatra's Needle celebrates Lord Nelson's victory. See also Stele ("why can't I say stele?") refers to an obelisk, especially one engraved, for example, with hieroglyphics. The nearby Belvedere Castle is where the legendary puppeteer Nelson's COUNT VON COUNT lives (at his Home Sweet Home).

Use of the rose compass (Rockefeller Center christmas tree medallion) points to the British Empire Building (viewing the top of the tree as true north). If you compare the Rockefeller christmas tree medallion the edges along the outside of the circle are spot-on for the compass rose on the home page of the videos. It was amusing when they made the Santa/Satan connection.

But in what would be an elegant twist, perhaps the true rose medallions here is the ROSE CENTER at the Natural history museum.

Nelson Coat of Arms

The latin motto on the Nelson coat of arms translates to "Let him who has earned it bear the palm." This is exactly analogous to Tom Hanks telling the villain that only the worthy will be able to achieve the grail. The Nelson crest is a hand pointing upward to a crescent. (See also Spielberg's GO FISH, a specialty films division of DREAMWORKS). The COAT OF ARMS was first clued compelling when Crothers' coat was cut up and he wailed about it.

Lenore Park in Brooklyn's Marine Park

The "hard balls" was confirmed by clues leading to the diamond-backed snake and turtle at Lenape Park in Marine Park. Rather than a red herring those clues were corroboratory. The real clue there was the cement balls alongside the snake and turtle.

Queens' Flushing Meadows Corona Park

It is also the result of all the clues that get you to Flushing Meadows. Flushing Meadows Corona Park
http://www.nycgovparks.org/sub_your_park/vt_flushing_meadows/about_the_park.html

For example, in addition to the Unisphere, you have the iconic Trylon and Perisphere. That obelisk, called Trylon, celebrated the 1939 World's Fair which looked to the future. A time capsule was a prominent feature of the fair. The fair featured the Nelson Coat of Arms in the British Pavilion in a British heraldry exhibit. The location of the British Pavilion is currently under the Van Wyck Expressway. Directions: Flushing Meadows Park. Take the #7 train to 111th St. in Queens. Walk downhill on 111th St. (south) for four blocks. (A "111" is a "Nelson" in cricket and thought to be unlucky). Just after you cross under a bridge, you'll see the rockets to the left; you can cut diagonally through the parking lot. The supersonic jet sculpture is behind the rockets.

Come: Let us travel into the future.

http://www.nycgovparks.org/sub_about/parks_divisions/capital/parks/flushing_meadows_corona_park_pool_rink.html

This Park Pool & Rink was built at the location of the old British Pavilion which had displayed Nelson coat of arms.

http://www.roadsideamerica.com/map/12897

The Panorama at the Queens museum at 111th there is sponsored by The Roslyn Savings Foundation.

You might seek to retrace your steps over the Panorama at the Queens museum at Flushing Meadows using the colored lights or focused on the colored zones of the 1939 World's Fair. Guess what color the zone in which the British Pavilion was located.

Consider whether the flare spouting in WPPPT, in the first 30 seconds, is a pointer toward either the Rockethrower in Flushing Meadows Corona park rather than Prometheus at Rockefeller Center Plaza. Given that the solution in TinTin involved a small globe that looks like the Unisphere there, pursuing this lead in Flushing Meadows Corona seems an excellent idea. Near the Panorama, note the plaque memorializing SOCHA's heroism. He lived off of McCarren Park -- a member of the bomb squad, he died trying to defuse a bomb left at the British Pavilion.

Rockefeller Center and Christmas Tree Medallion as the Rose Compass

"I'm going up to the highest point of the ship to clear me head and think of new codes."

"Why don't we all prance up to the top deck, lock arms, and riverdance off the rotten plank" Top Deck could refer to Top of the Rock Riverdance could refer to Radio City Music Hall (Riverdance performs there) . Stan, the guide there at Rockefeller Center, can point out the buildings explained that we have 30 rock, then the french building with the fleur-de-lis, then Saks Fifth Avenue, then the British Empire Building. Check out his ring. The Captain must have stolen one of his rings.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYCoMghAHgg

Now I realize that Flushing Meadows has the silliness of the Mulligan's: "Oh, I'm so scared Captain. I think I gotta pee" and Crothers' "I gotta take a crap" clues invoking Bart Simpson's dreaming of a field of toilets when he saw a bus going to Flushing Meadows. (Again, the bus stops at 111th, which is a "Nelson" in cricket; it is in Queens, which appear in the poker game). But do you really think that they would be able to resist pointing you instead pointing to the British Empire building at Rockefeller Center Plaza in order to orient your thinking? The Spielberg/Jackson movie about the roseline is coming out this spring. Either solution of course would be elegant but think of the dominance of the Patrick O'Brien clues. Along with the DaVinci code, you would have benefited from watching MASTER AND COMMANDER, LOST as to its use of the LOST Numbers, and "Under the Rainbow" from Season 2 in Moonlighting. Scavenger Hunt, the source for the names Crothers and Mulligan, is online.

Simon Pegg, the captain's friend, is starring in the movie featuring TinTin (a Spielberg and Jackson movie) being released this Spring based on pirate adventure involving treasure in the globally loved Adventures of TinTin. (It is famous in Europe). He plays Inspector Thompson who follows the escaped Bird. That movie -- like the DaVinci code -- also features the roseline or the Paris Meridian. You'll see from the Captain's Twitter account that Simon Pegg is the only person the Captain follows. So the clues to the roseline such as was featured in Dan Brown's book DaVinci Code were always very compelling. Importantly, Kit Williams' MASQUERADE, which the puppets cited in an interview as an inspiration, also used the Rose Line as the key to its solution.

http://movieclips.com/watch/die-hard-1988/ho-ho-ho/

heck out the fleur-de-lis, Mercury, and even the god-like guy at 30 Rock. (Get it? Under the Rainbow Room? Top of the Rock? etc.)

The black box marked by the red line is very near the Christmas medallion and is labeled NASTASI, the name of the construction/maintenance company. It anagrams to IS SANTA and also IS SATAN. It is at the foot of David HOSACK, which anagrams to SOCHA K. So this, ironically, perhaps turns out to be a beautiful tribute to the member of the NYPD bomb squad who lived off McCarren Park who died at the British Pavilion defending the City from terrorists.

I called the fellow at NASTASI about the box. He says it is his toolbox. He reports it is empty. The RCPD stenciled on the temporary posts holding up the rope stands for Rockefeller Center Patrol Division. Although he was very courteous, he noted that if anyone touched it he would have them arrested.

Finally, ask yourself, where is the listing of names in the WPPPT from or what is the nature of the coding. Given its close proximity to the unveiling of the vault -- which has a critically important hidden image captured below -- the importance of these names should not be overlooked. It seems we may have to think out of the box given its importance.

111 Empire Blvd., Brooklyn

There is still the small matter of the location of the chest containing the gold so let's proceed. The "18" clue for Tutty and "250 feet" CROWS NEST (CROWNS EST) might have led you to 18 Commerce St. and the nearby 111 Nelson St. (Commerce could be understood refers to the whaling ship that was the disguise of the "Surprise" in Master and Commander, based on the Patrick O'Brien books.) But given that all the while you were looking for a mini-storage unit containing colored balls (see "Maddie Hayes" Under the Rainbow episode) that required an analogous location that fit the same clues that was a mini-storage place. That turned out under one hypothesis to be 111 Empire Blvd. in Brooklyn.

Visual Clues Pointing To The Colored Balls And Why You Always Should Have Just Left Your Shovels At Home

As for some clue solves in addition to the HARDBALL poster that pointed to them being hidden under the plastic balls...

*Mulligans "I don't want to sink! I cannot swim!" which is what one cries out in a colored ball mosh pit.

*"Stand fast, Mulligan. This isn't your first dance with old cannon ball." (The ball mosh pit is an annual favorite and it isn't Mulligan's first dance.)

*On The Larry King, the balls on the background are a clue to the balls. Note the various colored balls and vivid colors. The light reflection is made to show balls moving. The five colored boxes represent the mosh pit itself and the light (colored even) represents the moving balls.

*When Fafa says "how did I get up here? Is this some sort of clue" that is how a mosh pit of balls would work in a sense. He is moving around in a box of moving balls and changing his position.

*When Mulligan at the end of that episode asks him if he thinks we realized that they were slipping in clues, he is referring to the sense of slipping in the fluid, moving balls.

*In the gambling video, visually, the glove and boots logo appears in two balls on either side of the hand reaching up -- as a hand might reach out of a mosh pit of balls.

*What are the red, white and blue chips other than balls such as those pictured below being washed. Indeed, balls constantly being moved around.

*The falling gold coins in the poker episode also visually suggestive of balls.

*In the featured player segment, in which Captain sobs into tissues, those are balls on the tissue box design.

*"I'm up to my knee collar in turds" -- such as how in a mosh pit you are up to your knee collar in unsanitary balls.

*Mulligan said "I'll call!" "I'll call!" and then "I called! I called" When you call the number you get Hurley's Lost powerball's numbers. "The pot increases to $5555 as Mulligan goes all in, pushing his stack of chips into the center of the poker table. A silver iPod can be seen in front of Mulligan as he pushes his chips into the center of the table. Mulligan: Uh. Oh boy! I called! I CALLED!"

*Mulligan in the comic book is chewing. A "Treasure Ball" mentioned in the comic book in one of the episodes is not a lottery term but is the plastic ball that contains the prize. Get it? Plastic ball.

APPLE - "X" Marks The Spot

I've ventured that APPLE has always marked the spot much like the Louvre pyramid marked the spot of the holy grail in the DaVinci Code. An apple is part of the rose family. The keyword in DaVinci code unlocking the cryptex was APPLE. I explained in August, my view that APPLE was also the solve here. Mulligan says: "There are 4 that can be seen, at the sides or bottom, and five if you count the one set to autohide (where it can't be seen)."When used in connection with computers, dock means "(2) (Dock) The launching pad for applications in the Mac OS X operating system. SeeMac Dock."

The theory: After the many attributes of McIntosh apple were discovered, plant breeders began crossing it with other varieties to enhance its traits. One of the earliest was the Cortland. The apple was named after Cortland County, New York, near where I live and pick my apples. The launching pad for applications in the Macintosh. Working like an animated taskbar, the Dock was introduced with Mac OS X. As the cursor is moved along the Dock, the icons are magnified, and this creates a rippling effect. The Dock can be located at the sides or bottom of the screen and can be set to autohide. Icon size and their amount of magnification can also be adjusted. Apple makes its hardware mainly of aluminum, which was the subject of the chuckle between the two crabs.

The Apple building 767 Fifth Ave. at Central Park in this hunt represents the equivalent to the Louvre pyramid. It points to Tutty -- and what the Captain views as the holy grail. You can go down and buy a new G5 with its OS X operating system -- X marks the spot. The key and necessary insight in this regard is that there is a related effect using OSX that the image ripples and enlarges when you pass over it. Here, the "X" on the home page enlarges (when using OSX) when you pass over the three obelisks (Cleopatra's Needle has two counterparts including one in Paris and one in London). In DaVinci Code, it was that apple that dropped; in Times Square, the ball drops. (Maybe you need both an APPLE OSX and to see the obelisks pictured under the "X" to get this clue; that's what I use).

"Double Down," by the way, is not a poker term. In addition to being a blackjack term, it is the name of a 2001 movie in which four young compulsive gamblers come up with a radical plan to get out of debt with a fixed game.

http://www.thefoolsparadise.com/masquerade/bitter-end.htm

I will assume that the clue has some other interpretation that I'm missing such as a famous quote by Sir Francis Bacon -- something like "Knowledge is Power." Oh look! "Wisdom" at Rockefeller Plaza is playing in a mosh pit of plastic balls on top of a treasure chest containing $10,000 in gold coins. Cool!

The Question Of Undisclosed Sponsorship

Based on an analysis of their three PR Newswire releases in June/July, there is perhaps an undisclosed hidden corporate sponsor which would be a good thing for a variety of reasons. Whoever the corporate sponsor, if there is one, kudos to them if they are encouraging people to follow their own blue bird of happiness. I've thought that the sponsor was either twitter or Google Chrome or the forthcoming Spielberg/Jackson Tin/Tin movie or some combination thereof. Peter Jackson LOVES puppets. He did the puppet movie Meet The Freebles. He was interviewed saying he was considering possible other media to promote the long-planned TinTin movie. The forthcoming movie starring the Captain's friend Simon Pegg features pirates, the rose line, and a quest for treasure.

http://twitter.com/newtwitter

In addition to Twitter's blue bird that they quite literally want you to follow in a campaign for the newtwitter, Google Chrome's new viral marketing campaign called "Downtown Wilderness" features flying birds. Either the Captain or first mate, however, tweeted that he didn't see much new in the newtwitter so I guess we can eliminate twitter as a sponsor.

Mulligan enjoyed himself immensely when he emphasized the clue: "Potato." In May 2010, Google Chrome did a viral video called "Speed tests" famously involving a potato the month before the launch of the pirate series. In addition to a potato, it featured a pirate ship being struck by lightening. Consider some of the sound effects used in webs series and consider them to the google Speed Test video and see what you think. The Speed Test video was deemed 1 of the top 10 viral campaigns of the year.

Chrome Browser v. Potato
Chrome Browser v. Lightening hitting pirate ship
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCgQDjiotG0

Sound effects in the pirate videos are suggestive of the speed purported to be demonstrated by the "scientists" in the "Speed Test" video

The pirates' press releases have all been given in character. In the NYT article, the brilliant video freelance editor is merely saying that AGS, the reporter, can punch him in the nose if he is lying. But now why would AG want to do that when it is all in good fun and AG had seen the same fun, spirited press releases sent the other media outlets.

"Downtown Wilderness"

Google Chrome's newest promotion features "Downtown Wilderness," a cutting-edge interactive video using HTML5 code in which you can make a drawing and send it to yourself from your past -- from your home sweet home. Just type in the address where you grew up. Mulligan once commented: "If anyone finds me crayons, lemme know! I just got me choose your own adventure coloring book and I can't starts without 'em! Thanks! - MULLIGAN"

For his part, Mulligan says that he was "were sailin' on the web...found it on the google! and found the Web Series Network."

The movie Terminator strikes the same "end of the world" / travel-back-in- time-to-change-things -- theme that Mulligan likes. In that movie, Linda Hamilton tapes an audio message to give to her son in order to change the future. The movie termated by the announcer who notes his name is Hal Vukovich (Lance Henriksen).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Terminator

There was a Apple v. Pickle clue or allusion in the pirate video series -- with Pickle being the name of the ship bringing the news of Nelson's great victory.

While I look forward to seeing the Spielberg/Jackson movie, I am entranced in the meantime using GoogleChrome and watching Wilderness Chrome and looking at the shadows to see if gorillas (such as the one who attacked TinTin and his dog in the castle in one of the TinTin books) staring out at Belvedere Castle.

http://www.thewildernessdowntown.com/#belvedere+castle,+West+Dr,+New+York,+NY+10024,+US

You get that movie even when you type Pentral Cark. Also Pentral Park. Perhaps Mulligan programmed the HTML5 code. Mulligan once said: "I have a good code. Instead of Central Park we call it Pentral Cark." Our beloved Mulligan adds: "Mulligan: Yeah, sneaky code ain't it."

In the videos computer users make, the person is running in the dark.

"Mulligan: Okay. Mulligan, you just gotta hold off 'till dark. And that's all you gotta do. Alright. Alright."

ABC World News with Di...: The Conversation: Inside 'The Wilderness

Look at the gold hue. The lamp lights that look like the lamps in Central Park with gold coins at the top. Even his footfalls for a moment seem to become the gold coin the Captain throws at you. As you approach 111 Empire Blvd. check the red "C" pointing right at it. You can't make a video for 115 Empire Blvd. (the actual street address on the door) and 111 Empire Ave. for Brooklyn does not appear in the prompted dropdown menu -- you have to keep typing. Picture Locke in LOST typing at his computer. Be the ball, as Chevy Chase would say. Be the Locke.

Mulligan says:

"Ah. I have the code of all codes. But it's so good it can't be put into words. Where's my crayons. Ah. My sweet crayolees."

In DowntownWilderness, in sending himself a message (see the manila envelope on his hammock) telling him where he left their gold, the Captain could use a crayon to draw a picture rather than type. Looking down at his picture Mulligan explains "There it is the code of all codes." The interactive drawing in DowntownWilderness is only possible because of the standard announced as superior by the APPLE CEO -- the HTML5 code. (The APPLE CEO has explained that is why IPAD was not interested in using flash.) "Whatever it takes" -- what IT takes.

As an example, check out the possible visual imagery clues of the downtownwilderness video featuring 111 Empire Boulevard, Brooklyn, NY 11225.

We'll have to sit down with Mulligan to gain learn more of his love of jelly beans and his experience with naughty Santas. For example, Mulligan says "Oh. Then how about this. Instead of calling it window sill, we call it window sell. Sill, I-L-L, sell, E-L-E." There, did the "ill" in still [photograph] become stele? Did the photo become the obelisk? Did Crothers/Tutty/Nelson represented by the obelisk commemorating his great victory? Or did "III" (known as a "Nelson") become the stele? Was the claimed fact you can't take pictures in the Monroeville Mall direct us to the importance of the picture of Tutty? And the picture you can send using Golden Chrome? Were the Jacks that turned out to be Queens just a joke about "Lucky Jack's" (see Patrick O'Brien novels) request, "Kiss me," from his good friend, the doctor? Someday Mulligan and his colleaguesl be as revered as Lord Nelson himself -- as revered as Muppets creator Henson, Sesame Street Director Stone, and legendary puppeteer Jerry Nelson, methinks. Certainly, the scriptwriter, Johnny Longfellows, and the others on the crew have proven themselves as major talents.

But above all else, "beware ta octopus" as you reach for the chest marked with the name of the construction/maintenance company that anagrams both to "IS SANTA" and "IS SATAN." Tell Liz Lemons I said hi.

Mulligan says something like, "Santa." "Satan." Heh-heh. You might have sensed that the puppeteers were having some fun with the Santa/Satan thing and gone to Times Square (where the Santas meet) and had some grog.

LOST NUMBERS

I think the number for Swift Laundry given by Mario and Fafa in a so-called student video may be what I call your magic 10-digit LOST number. 516-422-3006

The add says "Need more time?" It then gives you a 10-digit number that is not in service.

And so while the number in Casper, Wyoming gave you the standard LOST Numbers, I would consider these 10 numbers as an alternative.

Cups

There is another episode (1) where Mulligan sits at table and points to the cups. Wonder what is with that? Input? I really think this means something. Trophy or silver cup?
There is this in Queens. Does this mean anything to anyone?

Hmm...if there's a connection to a studio, it seems like it would more likely be Kaufman-Astoria nearby, where Sesame Street is filmed. FWIW, Silvercup has a green roof, which would be a pretty savvy place to bury a treasure--except I don't think the soil is deep enough.

chest marked by a red line at the Rockefeller Center
Christmas medallion under the arms of the octopus

is pictured here. He sounded very sincere.

Time and Strikes

There is references to time in the episodes. HMS means (Her Majesty's Ship) for the ships in the Patrick O'brien books. It is also a reference to Hours, Minutes, Seconds.

The bracelets look like watches on Crothers. Even more evident when his arm is cut off.

The picture of the puppets in the green room at MSNBC or wherever does not show these same bracelets on Crothers. Go check it out. Some cloth is there on his wrist in that picture. NVM it is his other arm I just noticed.

Larry King wears a very visable watch.

Captain makes a reference to Tutty being with them the whole _______ (time)?

There are also what sounds like bells ringing in the final video (not sure if there is any in the others) I think which can represent time.

Remember the twelve cannon shots? 12 hours on a clock face? striking on the hour (shooting in the face('k))

Not sure if the compass on the table could also be a clock. It may just mean direction of NNW.
Any other ideas?

If you count around the clock you get 123456789101112. Look at the 111. Those three numbers fall together.

Oh, and a clock strikes. "K" is a strike in baseball. "Three" strikes and you are out. " Pitcher" throws strikes. The sword strikes. Strike a match. Lightning strikes too, yep!
The roman numerals are on clocks too. IDK there is just a lot of time/strike references here to not take a closer look.

I looked closely at Bowling Green Park earlier in this because of the cannon balls looking like bowling balls and bowling also has a strike.... but alas it is not there I think.

Iif we can figure this all out someone is definitely gonna STRIKE GOLD!

Re: moving of cup / why green T-shirts / turds
Dread Pirate Roberts and Caddyshack

Hi Tammy!

Does the moving of the cup in the vault scene just before the pirate keels over suggest Princess Bride and the Dread Pirate Roberts?

"Princess Bride"

Battle of Wits scene in Princess Bride

Westley, the hero of The Princess Bride, is on a voyage to seek his fortune when his ship is captured by the Dread Pirate. Westley learns that the Roberts's notorious reputation inspires overwhelming fear in sailors. Ships immediately capitulate and surrender their wealth rather than be captured, a fate they imagine to be certain death. A pirate operating under his own name is said to be incapable of such infamy: "No one would surrender to the Dread Pirate Westley.

Isn't Mulligan adorable?

In the WPPPT episode, Mulligan is a rookie with a Cinderella story.

Bill Murray - Caddyshack - Cinderella story

Bill Murray knows why one wears green (to hide)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rThXRVkXHjc

Bill Murray to Mulligan:
"No one is going to believe you." (see Twitter)

The Captain is constantly making references like "up to your neck in turds." That is yet another Caddyshack reference. I expect that Fafa applied to be the gopher's stunt double, standing in for the explosions.

I hope no one wrote away for the green T-shirts the pirates are selling. (see comic book advertisement)

Spaniard I do not see this Princess Bride thing. Maybe its just me. I am looking for simple clue references to time, things they are pointing at, and other things that are missing or don't make sense. It's these little overlooked things that I think could mean something. I am not looking too deep for homages and such. They have taken me down too many rabbit holes that led to nowhere.

Thats also the approximate place the compass was pointing to if it were a clock face.

dead man's hand
did anyone else post this?..... can't remember

The worst hand in poker or dead man's hand is the 2 7 offsuit or 27 O as they call it. Wondered if this had been previously posted. Could not remember. The captain shot the dealer as he had been dealt this I think 4 or 5 times he said right? It ended up being the numbers he needed for his hand to win in the last hand. 2 or 7 . But.... he needed them to be SUITED (IN SPADES). That would have made his hand a FLUSH 23456 or 34567. Then Crothers has to take a crap so the Flush (ing) would be relevant. Missry I think is right about Flushing Meadows. After looking here, everything lines up.

I would assume spades means dig.... LOL.
In the Germanic countries the spade was the symbol associated with the blade of a spade. The English term "spade" originally did not refer not to the tool but was derived from the Italian word spada = "sword" from the Italo-Spanish suit. Those symbols were later changed to resemble the digging tool instead to avoid confusion.[2] In German and Dutch the suit is also, alternately, named Schüppen and schoppen (shovel). In some parts of Britain, namely the West Midlands, the suit can be known as cabbages, or cabbage-leaf, which is a direct correlation with the German suit of "leaves".[citation needed]
Maybe that is why Tom's blade will singe like nobunaga fire? Sword=Spade=Leaves?

In the comic strip it shows Mulligan falling out of the crow's nest by getting pushed out by the Captain. That is before it happens in the final episode. I have more for you Missry. I'm sure you have been in the crow's nest right?

This is what I meant.

In Texas Hold'em it is 2 7 offsuit. In 5 card poker it is Ace(s) 8(s). See here...
http://www.pokertips.org/glossary/w/DEAD+MAN'S+HAND

you must copy and paste the whole thing and put it in your searchbar to see it as the +hand portion is not lighting up.
