Forget the Finger and the DeadMan's Hand At This Point
It's was in McCarren

The dead man's hand aka Solidarity stele is in McCarren Park. We ruled that out since a few of us had already been there.

Already Dug Up

We'll apparently when I went to McCarren about 4 weeks back since just about every clue from Eps. 1 to 6 leads to it, the ship shaped area between the 2 dog runs which looks just like the Maddie Hayes was already dug up. Lots of garbage in that park. I did find a silver ring, an old subway token and a dime. Wink

How do you know which posters are women?

Perhaps someone has found it if that truly is the park. You said something was dug up already?

The Captain explains that you'll know the spot when you know the spot and there are no clues convincingly leading to a spot in McCarren or any place that requires digging. You can safely disregard all clues merely hinted at by posters -- it is only when clues are shared that they can be judged.

More importantly, it is illegal to dig at McCarren Park I presume. NEVER do anything illegal.

If you have ever a dug a hole, go back and make sure it is exactly as you left it and never do it again. Always leave things better than you found it -- whether in a park or otherwise.

Always assume that one of the posters is an undercover operative from the New York City Parks legal department or related to one.

Also, when your husband tells you to slow down -- you're speeding -- listen to him. Remember, the State Trooper who pulls you over is likely someone's husband and he is the one who writes the ticket. :0)

Above all, have fun! There is nothing quite like falling asleep mulling over the clues and waking up to exclaim to your spouse, "I know where it is!" ... Only to have your spouse bemusedly tell the person on the phone "She's sleepwalking and she says she knows where it -- again. ...Be sure to write it down, honey."

clever clue telling here. Those old vitamins with too much aluminium in em used to cost a dime. Those two rings on the hand trophy have stumped me all night long and the subway token could be considered a treasure by us out-of-towners.laugh-out-loud.
This morning I saw a commercial that suggested that Jarred of Subway is running in the NYC marrathon. Maybe the clue with Mulligan runnin past tutty and captain was really supposed to depict the marathon(and his torch was his scope). Nice coinsidence. Mulligan is seen eating a sandwich....So...lets brainstorm that idea and even have some fun with it.
Mulligan is Jarred who lost a lot of weight because he eats sandwiches?lol.
The subway up and down sign and the birds repeating of what mulligan(jarred says) is a clue when considering you double down , double down?everything mulligan says can be linked to two clues? one up and one down from a certain location? Double down also means double up? Oh I am so bored to have come up with those,haha.

I was trying to figure out again, just where that location is where tutty and captain are on the rock(his memory), does anyone remember?

I 'm not sure if this was previously noted (I have tried to research it) but has anyone pointed out that if Tutty was buried with the treasure, that he might have been the one to bury it? As I have been taught (maybe wrongly), pirates have someone else dig the hole to bury the treasure then shoot that person to be buried along with the treasure so as to keep its' secret. That is why Tutty is the real treasure.

P.S. Sorry, Missry, if I insulted you. It's all tongue-in-cheek. And you really don't need to carry a sledge around...please....
