even crediting it is under the colored balls,
I agree it would be "under New York City"

In advertising the webseries (recently, I think), they do use the phrase "under New York City" at one point. I think these folks are very precise and so even if one credits that it is buried under colored balls (as I've suggested based on when it was stored and based on visual clues), it seems that it would have to be in the basement or below ground in some fashion. My nephew works as a security guard at KMUP. I'll have him rummage around with Rizzo this morning. (Note that if you view it notable that the M and L of Holy Mackerel are capitals, that is 1050 am on your radio dial which is ESPN, I think).

Actually:
Ceasa
Pala

Because the endings of the two words are behind another building. Are you suggesting that The Center for Excellence in Accounting and Security Analysis at Columbia is something? Or what do you have in mind for Ceasa?

CAESAR'S PALACE would be the correct spelling. How is it spelled in the video? Also that would make the R'S and CE missing behind a building I think someone said. I have been too busy this week moving my daughter to work on this much. Are there any other letters covered up in this episode?

Nice catch.

Yes I know that the words are behind buildings. I thought that the word was spelled wrong. The letters were missing and I was just wondering if anyone else notice that. I did write it down in my notes after the episode but I never notice anyone else mentioning it. Maybe that should be looked into. Maybe Columbia does have a connection? Who knows?

What language Missry is it translated from? I found cala was translated from Spanish to English and meant "hole in the wall " or "cove or inlet" but could not find Paesa anywhere.

Italian....that Spanish translation of hole in the wall is pretty interesting though. I only chose Italian because of Caesars palace.

Tammy- I can't find anywhere that says paesa cala is hole in the wall in spanish. I've only found cove and creek. Where did you see that?

Cala (for Missry) and some other things...

http://www.spanishdict.com/translate/cala

Missry I found it here.

At the very bottom it mentions swan or bird too under answers forum but I do not think it is anything.

Other stuff:
Does anyone think the bear's brown cola sign has any significance? Cola can be rearranged to Loca (location). Any ideas on that? It say's it's tops so I thought of the head of root beer for some reason. A&W has a brown bear in one of their logos.

On the main page of WLOG it says "Try ta Avoid". The O is oblong and an o is replaced by an A. So are we to avoid a circular O? The oblong shaped o reminds me of the footprint and also the skull. When captain says "be that a foot" and Mulligan says "yeah your FOOT", the captain then hits him in the HEAD with a bottle. That action makes me think of a ship getting christened (named). Wetting the bow ?(Rainbow)?

Something else. Following the path of the birdie. If you follow the walking path of a bird with a pegleg it would look an arrow pointing down and a dot. The arrow pointing down would be his good foot and the dot would be the pegleg. Has anyone seen this at their treasure site? Arrows and dotted lines? I realize that the bird prints are probably not what we are looking for, and shoe footprints would have been plausible but I was trying to think of another possibility to the birdie's path besides flying a straight line.

Re: It's best not to read 50 comments for every clue...
What Happened??

What happened? You left us hanging?? Did your area match up to any of the clues? Where you able to pin in down to an exact spot?

[quote="iwantmygold"]As someone who resolved the final location tonight (after extensive research) and will be digging there this weekend when it's not raining, I can say that reading the thoughts of 50 different people for every part of 8 episodes is not the way to go about it. I stopped reading the forum after episode 1 and used my own mind and research instead. I joined as a member today and have read the last few hundred posts. 90+% of what I've seen is far from reality.

The fact is they mean it when they said to not go digging everything up. When you find it... you will know it. They are absolutely right. In addition, all of the "nonsense" things make total sense in the end (ie: tutty, potato, crow's nest, tattoo, balto, comics. gorilla, etc. etc.). They do all flow together perfectly when you discover how to link them. I'm very impressed with how creative these guys are and how much I've learned as a result. Awesome!!! Looking forward to updating this forum with results and if it works out displaying my research and conclusions.

P.S. I've participated in SantaCon the last 3 yrs- has nothing to do with this. Nice pics though.[/q

We Are All Still In Different Places
Manhattan or Brooklyn or Queens

We know this: The treasure is UNDER NYC. It is buried. As to exactly how it is buried and what is it buried under still has to be figured out. Which is why we are in different areas, otherwise one of us would have it.

There are historical, puppeteers, and pirate references in the eps.
So, is there an area that matches all three that we are missing.

Pirates hung out mostly down town Manhattan and a few other areas in Manhattan. They also hung out in harbor towns off of Brooklyn. They helped in both the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. They were given permission, a letter of mark, by the our newly formed government and one of the corrupt leaders of New York to take what ever they wanted from the British Navy to prevent them from getting supplies to their troops on land.

Our Holy Trinity / Grail Connection
Hey Tammy & Spaniard

Hey Tammy & Spaniard;
I believe that you two have helped me find the Holy Trinity/Grail connections with your suggestions. Just toooo much leads to the connections of each other. I still have more homework to do. Very Happy

rickrolling, LOST, hidden images
dreams

Was the rickrolling thing relevant or was that just Mulligan having some fun?

And what about the LOST numbers?

While I haven't been actively thinking about it, I still enjoy having dreams about it and having the feeling (while dreaming) that I'm having some revelation - that it is coming together.

Then I wake up and realize that I have basic things totally unanswered such as the episode with just the numbers.

And what does one make of the hidden images upon the overlapping of images?
