I know people were able to mail in an order form in the comic and get stuff, although I remember reading that people stopped getting stuff. Does anyone know if they were able to get a copy of the comic itself? I'm trying to see some of the obscured text. I'm curious about that scene with Mulligan in the bar.

I sent in mail but never recieved anything back but as far as I know there were three items in the mailing, none of those items were a comic. Two of the items are grouped together and I think are one clue....the third item is another clue. I think the videos can be figured out without these clues.....I think they are more for confirmation that you are in the right place. I have matched the second one to the end location but got there without this clue.

I heard from a reputable person on this site that this was most likely bogus. They mailed the address early and never received anything either. The FAQ on the website says that there are no physical clues. Knowing this, I no longer believe that these items exist.

It's been a long time since ep 6 was released. If somebody did receive items it didn't help them. It seems silly that they would keep it to themselves after this long.

Also, the zip code on the order form doesn't match the one for the post office. It's only off by 1, but when you have a real PO box you typically don't get this wrong.

I don't know 100% that the items are real...BUT my paths end location fits perfectly with one of the items, and also with Ep 8.....so the person(s) who posted that they recieved items here made a very good guess about those items since they ended up being relevent to Ep 8 before we even seen Ep 8. And I think it's a huge coincidence that one of the items matches my end location when I didn't use it to get there. I don't think the items are clues....only confirmations. I have no idea why only a few recieved them. I believe them though......more so now than before.

I was in Queens, then at some point Manhattan, then at some point later on in Brooklyn. Then I was back in Manhattan. Then Queens again. Now I am on Mars. Didn't see much going on in da Bronx or Staten Island.

BTW, has anyone been out scouting areas in the past couple of days? I'm wondering how bad the snow cover is. I'm a little north of the city and we didn't get hit as bad.

What is the deal with...

What's the deal with tutty, the potato, and the tattoo? Confused anagram? The only difference between potato and tattoo is a 'P' vs. a 'T'. Pentral Park?

I am now 100% convinced that the "gifts" were fake, as was my initial suspicion. I have two theories on this:

1) The person who claimed to have received them is full of $#!+. Whether they made this one point up or not, their taunts of the board, coupled with the fact that they also have NOTHING to show for it (despite apparently being just a few feet away from $10k in SEPTEMBER) bears out the view that this person is not as impressive as they represent, and probably not very trustworthy. (And I don't mean untrustworthy in a good "pirate" way).

2) There may actually be someone at the other end of the PO Box who, like the owners of the phone number therein, have nothing to do with this hunt. Upon receiving this odd order form in the mail, they scrambled a few things together and sent it out for laughs. This would explain why only one person apparently received these gifts. You would think that if the WLOG creators had intended to provide gifts, they would have prepared to send more than just one. A person suddenly and randomly getting a handful of these might not be so inclined to keep it up.

Re: comic book

You could be right Smile
More than one person here did claim to have received the items and as far as I can tell those two people didn't know each other and both said they got the same items. Maybe they do know each other or maybe they have two screen names here......wouldn't surprise me.
One of the items does match up with my end location though.

Where does everyone stand?
Who is decoding the comic, who is following the train line theory?

question: how come so many people on these boards have mentioned knowing or having an end location, yet no one has the gold yet?
