I'm here!

I was very much into this when it first came out. I followed every clue by the letter, and got all mixed up and turned around.

i walked away for a few months, but decided to come back after seeing the quotes mentioned above.

I have watched the first two episodes, only paying attention to anything that Mulligan says.

I am also trying to step back and seea bigger picture.

For example: his name, "Mulligan". Clearly a golfing term (plus we hear "birdie" later on).

I am not there yet, so I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I am going to try to watch these more for the story than anything else. i.e.

episode 1=Central Park
episode 2=Something to do with Master and Commander
episode 3 = cnn studios....

i would love somebody else to talk through this with.

Why does Crothers Parrot look like Tutty?

Did anyone ever come up with a good reason why Tutty looks so similar to Crothers Parrot? They are missing the same eye, arm, and leg and are both wearing a white and red stripped shirt.

These quotes have shifted my attention back to "we should have been listening to Mulligan from the very beginning" and Mulligan's "code of all codes" in ep. 1... It sounds more like we need be tracing out their footsteps and look at the shape of their trail as a whole, as many have suggested on here. Unfortunately the trail that I've mapped out doesn't really resemble anything.

Have you given any thought to Mulligan's line "yeah... your foot" to the Captain? Possibly just trace the Captain's steps (if the theory that they split up holds).

Another random thought - I was pondering the possible relevance of the "belly jeans" and "window sele". Maybe those arent meant to be thought too hard about - is it possible that there is a jar of jelly beans on a window sill somewhere? Maybe that signifies the right place to dig? Just a thought.

Finally, I think your theories seem to make the most sense so far, so keep up the good work. I'm always checking back here to see if you've specifically added any ideas.

Joining in...

Hello and thank you for the last 260 thread pages of entertaining, interesting and/or insane thoughts!

Brooklyn-local here and joining the search. I've just spent the last week watching, re-watching and over thinking all the episodes. Obviously, you guys are way ahead of me, but I'm catching up fast.

I only found this forum after getting stuck, unfortunately, after episode two at Columbus Circle and the Silver Coast of Africa. Clues through there seem to be real, concrete and explainable. After that (the last 200 pages of thread or so) all seem to be conjecture because know is actually sure and/or can prove they knew where to go after Columbus.

Anyway, that's where I'm stuck. Would love to hear if anyone's picking this back up as a summer hobby.

PS - Anyone know that the treasure is still out there and that we're not just wasting our time?

Peace and thanks.

Its not as easy to get to as they say
Behind signs

There is a spot we missed in which you use to get in there. Those stones are a dead give away and scream at ye. But its almost a loss, cuzz NYers have the edge, us washington people and oregon blokes stand no chance.

All the Jesus references and the SOLE references and the save our SOLES(not souls),the anchor, popeye.the can of whoop ass, winnie the pooh, this is a game of the illuminati....its not a treasure hunt anymore, I have found other leads to other things and its all connected. These guys are deeper than you expect and a particular video thats out there shows the whole journey from start to end...but be warned, there are guards trying to keep us away from it.I am perplexed but already planning another trip this late end of summer.

Correct Episode Order

For the last hour I've tried to find the post(s) about the presumed correct order to watch the video clues. Going off the state of Crothers injuries it's clear that the videos are not in order. However, this forum is brutal to search and navigate.

Can anyone remind me? Like several others I'm trying to take in the big picture of the over arcing story after the remarks of the creators recently.

The consensus is that Episode 4 should be watched between Episode 6 and 7. If you watch them all with that one reordering, Crothers' injuries should follow a logical progression.

Its up to you locals

Since Im all the way down here in North Carolina Its obvious Im never going to find this treasure, so I decided that instead of sitting on what im thinking Im going to put it out there and I hope one of you gets it,

I think you all have been going about this all wrong, you all are trying to find clues that point you to different places (like a scavenger hunt) when you should be looking for the clues that point you to the same place. I have a feeling there is an overabundance of clues in these videos. I have seen a number of people say they know where it is but then never come back on here to reveal that place to cross it off the list (of course I havnt read all 262 pages)

I believe its at Madison Square Garden

did you know theres a crows nest in MSG?
Also in the first video the name of the ship is Maddie Hayes

Did you know MSG is about 28 Furlongs (3.5 miles) from central park and im willing to bet its exactly 3.5 miles from the place where captain and tutty were sitting in the flashback he didnt use on mulligan.

If you were to place the compass that was revealed during the game on top of MSG and go to where the point shifts, it points straight to the subway station on 8th Avenue and penn station

and this where I get stuck, the 250 feet , the window sele and their heading south southeast mean something

if you go down into that subway station and travel south south east do you come to a ticket window (window sell?)

I just cant imagine the treasure is actually buried anywhere in NYC so thats why i think you have to go down there

Anyways Happy hunting

I almost forgot

My reasoning on why i think its one place you are looking for instead of multiple places is because in the comic book episode Black tom says

"to catch up to you is Destiny"

"when our paths are meant to be one"

Also another person asked if there was a big post office in NYC, well im assuming there is, but i can see on google maps that there is a post office across the street from the subway station i was talking about

Still no headway huh? So frustrating! Smile
I keep trying to give up on this but I always end up getting back into it.

At this point, I check in daily in hopes that someone found it so I can move on...

Misc clues:

- The chest weighs 200lbs or something like that, so it must be near a road as the developers of the project don't expect you to be able to carry it.

- It is probably near a beach, buried by sand. This would fit with the whole pirate theme of the series, and sand is easy enough to dig up.

- It is probably not in a high traffic area like MSG or anywhere in Manhattan.

I think it is on Staten Island.
