Did you leave tangible, physical clues around the city? What am I looking for?

You're looking for the treasure chest. That's it. All the clues you need are found on the welostourgold website. Nowhere else. We did not leave any physical clues for you to find.

You might stumble across parchment from Mulligan advertising the site, or chest itself. Those are the only things we've physically hidden.

This makes me feel better about riding the subway all the live long day Smile

It is interesting the way that they worded "all the clues youneed are found of the welostourgold website". It does not say "all the clues you need are found in the videos".

There may be more on the site that we ultimately need to look at.

I often thought the same. I've rewatched some of the trailers to see if there's anything we've missed yet.

And also, regarding this episode, I don't see how the background for Mulligan and the Bird is red.. it looks orange on the three computers I've used today to view the video.

BRONX GIRL
I was going through the trailers in slow motion and i think i came across a very interesting clue..If you go into the trailer "the idea" and you look real hard on the Brooklyn scene 0:20 to be exact and you look to your right, you see what appears to me as an Arrow Pointing At A Person Sitting down on the floor. It seems to me that the arrow could of been super imposed into the scene. Tell me what you think!

arrow?

It just looks like something on her lap to me... like a drawing pad or something. Nothing of importance as far as I can tell. That's Coney Island and people sit and draw there all the time.

I've been following the forum for some days now and you guys came up with great ideas and remarkable observations. Respect! I overlooked most of it at first sight. What I was wondering right now is that thing with the map in the background. Some of you mentioned the lights and to me it is clearly the map of NYC. Well with basically only parts of Manhattan, Queens, Randall's Island and Roosevelt Island visible. To Larry King's right there is the map of Manhattan and several lights that could describe the Subway lines A-C, B-D, 1-2-3, and 4-5-6. If so, then there are some stations, i.e. lights missing. Which imho are 116 B-C, 103 1, 116 2-3, 145 3, 116 6, 96 B-C, 86 B-C, and 86 1. I am not sure what it might tell us, but I think it might be a clue. I thought I also realized the N-Q line in Queens behind Larry.

And another thing, what is it with that throwing star Tom throws at Larry and which remains sticking in his left shoulder? Could be X marks the spot. Which would mean we are somewhere in Queens south of LaGuardia. Anyone with me?
I'm with you!
I've been looking at this all morning and thought the same thing about the star. Did you also notice the "green line" to Larry's left? This should not be there. The train lines there are orange, yellow, orange, blue. I don't believe this is a park like the other green spots around the map either. Any clue?

There is a green line, the 4-5-6. but I don't know if that is relevant.

In addition, the purple line to the right of larry is the 7 running through Flushing Meadows Park. I also notice that in the same area is a green line going across which shouldnt be there. What should be there are blue and yellow lines representing the E and F lines (blue and yellow make green?). And yes the NQ line (yellow) is visible behind Larry.

Roosevelt Ave. Station

Hi there! I've been lurking around for the past two weeks and have been totally awed by everyone's un-puzzling. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but here's my small two cents regarding the 3rd video:

In the portion where there are five boxes, with Mario and Fafa on the top (when they say there's a hint) - I was thinking about which subway stops in New York simultaneously have yellow, orange, and blue trains running through them. I believe the only place this happens is out in Queens. And the only place they all stop together is at the Jackson Heights/Roosevelt Ave. stop.

Likewise, regarding "seeing 4 docks in one port at the same time" clue - I'm fairly certain that the Jackson Heights stop is one of the few places (if not the only place) where you can see the train platforms of 4 different lines at the same time (the station is above ground). By comparison, at the Columbus Circle stop, the A/C and B/D trains run next to one another, but the 1 train can only be accessed by walking down a set of stairs to another level.

As my third point toward this location, the star sticking out of the King of Larry's arm is right over the Jackson Heights neighborhood of Queens on the light-up board behind him.

This is speculation, but just like a lot of hints all pointed toward Columbus Circle in Ep. 2, I sort of feel like there is a good amount of suggestion about Jackson Heights in Ep. 3.

The spectacles, firefly, and flaming blue hat clues have me totally stumped.

"In addition, the purple line to the right of larry is the 7 running through Flushing Meadows Park."

Regarding Flushing Meadow's Park - there is a unisphere there that looks quite like the one in Columbus Circle. Not sure if it means anything, but the connection is quite a coincidence (silvery coast of Africa, etc).

I pointed this out in a previous post as well. Still thinking about it Wink

episode 3 at 2:35

This comes right after Crother's says "Tell them nothing, Tom!" The 4 of them (parrot included) could just be looking like they know nothing but it's just weird and it's bugging me. Mulligan and parrot are looking in opposite directions, the Captain seems to have his fingers strategically placed over his mouth, and Crothers is pointing at his open mouth. Just tell me i have nothing and I will move on. kthnxbye

Doesn't Crothers say, "Why can't we say steal?"

I found this on the nycgovparks.org website regarding the grand reopening of the unisphere:

Quote:
The Unisphere stands 140 feet tall and was built entirely of stainless steel by U.S. Steel.

I always thought Crother's line screamed clue. Maybe something there. You can get there by taking the 7 or the M but then you need to hop on a bus if you take the M.

Or maybe just spelling out letters

There may (or may not) be an anagram hidden in the names of the cast of Dawn of the Dead:

A VISIT FROM ST. NICHOLAS (leftovers don't ring a bell, maybe someone has another idea: GEORGE KENNEDY DEGREE)

"A Visit from St. Nicholas" was written by Clement Clark Moore, and near the subway/bus stop in Queens (Roosevelt-Jackson Hts-74 St-B'way station) is the Clement Clarke Moore Homestead Park (next stop on the E train). Not sure if George Kennedy fits in there, of if he has a degree. Maybe that part's just an homage?

My brain hurts...

How about David M G Ken 4 E (I don't know the rest).

I think the star looks more like it's just east of the Astoria/Ditmers Blvd. stop on the N/Q yellow line.
For the green line.... theres a green G line that runs part time right where there green line on the lightboard is.....can anyone in the area say whether or not ths line is still runs there? I know the regular G is there but the part time one does not show up on the MTA map. It looks like it runs from Court house square to Forrest Hills .
One more thing.....just east of flushing meadows on the lightboard is a verticle black line .....black space on the lightboard is water but as far as I can tell there is no water where this line is.

I have screen caps of the lightboard but am getting an error message when I try to post them here. If you'd like them send your Facebook link in a PM and I will send them to you.

Here is a link to the subway map that shows the part time G line in green.

I think the G train service has been cut. The dotted line part no longer runs.

Thanks UDbmas......then this mustn't be what the green line is for....I don't think they would leave it in the video if the lines changed.....unless it's un-important.
