I'm trying to work out another simpler solution for the box feed clues but I really think we need to come to a consensus on the colors being indicated in order to narrow down the problem space.

Take a look at this image I prepared and let me know what conclusions you reach. After giving it some further thought I think that Mulligan and the Bird's feed and the Captain's feed are both supposed to be orange, while Crothers' and Black Tom's feeds are supposed to be yellow, and Mario's and Fafa's feeds are supposed to be blue. But you can see that the "orange" is really between red and orange, and the "yellow" is between orange and yellow in terms of the official subway colors.

Actually, the updated FAQ says :

"All the clues you need are found on the welostourgold website. Nowhere else. We did not leave any physical clues for you to find."

They did not change the previous FAQ:

"How do I find it?
Jeeze, we just told you. The eight episodes contain every clue you need to find the treasure."

So, all the clues needed are on their website, and all eight videos are on their website (some just aren't unlocked yet! ), and all eight videos contain all the clues you need!

Hi everyone. I just spent all morning reading all 56 messages. I am intrigued, but thought reading through everything that this would be too "local" to participate. After reading this FAQ, though makes me believe participation can be done arm chair. Wish it were in Chicago though (where I am) as it does sound fun to go out and see the actual locations.

Just want to say everyone has done such a good job so far and especially want to thank the traveller for all those transcripts. And PB, even if it was a diversion by another player to throw players off, it must have been exciting to find a clue.

If Mr. L goes after Willow next...

This is a Buffy the Vampire slayer reference (Joss Whedon show; also created Firefly). Mr. L. = Lagos (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revelations_(Buffy_the_Vampire_Slayer).

I'm voting for Orange (Capt & Mulligan), Yellow (Crothers & Tom) & Blue (Mario & Fafa). No Red.

I agree. I thought the first [red]orange box was diff from the next one but it's not. Both boxes are just a slightly lighter shade on the left side so when put side to side the darker side of mulligan's box (our right) lines up with the lighter side of the Captain's box (our left) so they look different. But if you can imagine both their boxes on top of one another, they are the same color.

Everyones just ove anylizing things, they're not going to make this color thing a problem that is gonna haunt us for weeks, just go with instinct, theres 2 orange boxes. a yellow and a blue, its as simple as that.

Using the subway map as the template for the lightboard, then looking at a map online (satellite view) it looks to me like it is 94th St/Junction Blvd. On the satellite map, the road isn't absolutely straight, but it is on the subway map. BTW, for orienting the light board, I think the small skull-shaped island over Larry's shoulder is Rikers.

I think that island is randall's island the triboro (now the RFK) bridge goes over that island.

Interestingly, I think that Randall's Island / Triboro Bridge is the only place you can see 4 out of the 5 boroughs of NY.

This might jive with everything else that's been pointing us towards Queens.

Dangit, I don't want to go to Queens to investigate.

It's not my favorite place either, but at least I can drive there, rather than have to take the train to Manhattan, and the subway around.

If this turns out to be it, we can always end the day in the Beer Garden in Astoria Wink

at least it's not yet in staten island

I live close by there though, after catching up with all the ideas and there are alot of them, I think it is time to start figuring out what isn't a clue.

there may be away to determine if something is BS (blue smoke, a diversion)

I'm going to look through the other vids and see what has been given and proven false, at least from what we think we know.

Hang in there, we aren't halfway there yet. By Sunday we may be on our way to Brooklyn. REMEMBER: we will need to see ALL 8 episodes before we can find it. Queens is just (if we are right) the next stop on the way.

Just to close the loop, since we've had a LOT go on as far as clue discussion, are we thinking that the subway clues in this episode lead us to this park?
