143?

Have we discussed the significance of the number 143?

It is in Mulligan's twitter name.

It is also in one of the user names that scrolls through at the 33 second mark of video three.

With all of the traveling around on trains has anyone taken into account the "Port of Cortland" clue?

143 stands for I Love You.....1 letter in I, 4 letters in Love, and 3 letters in You

A few of the other Facebook names that you can see scrolling by in the video seem to be references to internet memes, so I assume they are just jokes and not meant to be clues.

Regarding the "port of cortland" clue, I have no idea. I have tried my best to tie it into one of the Cortlandt Street stations or Van Cortlandt Park or Woodlawn etc. but without any luck. I also looked into the town of Cortland, Cortland County, Cortland apples, the New York Lieutenant Governor who was namesake for all of the above, etc. also to no avail.

 Tour Guides
Full Picture?

I'm a new kid on the block. I've been following this tread, since the first video posted. I have managed to get myself to Columbus Circle and on to the subway. fellowtraveler you are amazing.. thanks for those transcripts and I think your TRAIN of thought is spot on... With that in mind I see these guys getting involved with tourism, Idea If we've walked in Central Park and now see ourselves in Flushing Meadows, headed towards Prospect Park. Could other episodes find us at Van Cortland Park, Pelham Park and the Bronx Zoo?. What park is on Staten Island? Enjoying the adventure from Florida Cool . Thanks

I looked at this place the first week while looking up something and it seems like as I look up clue after clue I keep ending up back here and now I've convinced myself that it must be there. Screwy

words on the map

I guess we'll have to wait for Sunday to see if we are headed to Queens or BK.

Hubs and I messed around with the map, and no amount of photoshopping could help us read the scribbles. Sorry Sad

Re: subway track layout?

The next arrangement of feeds is Orange, Orange, Yellow, and Blue with Blue on the bottom. Assuming that we are departing from 34th Street / Herald Square, the only stations to qualify are Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue and Forest Hills-71 Avenue.

If you look at the subway map again you can see that in the vicinity of the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue and Forest Hills-71 Avenue stations there are two orange lines and a yellow line ABOVE a blue line.

If we use the 2-D view (to place the blue BELOW the the orange & yellow) that would require the yellow to be BETWEEN the 2 orange. If you go 3-D, then the station that matches Blue ABOVE orange & yellow is Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue. It also fits the 4 out of 5 ports since the #7 is elevated, while the E-F-M-R are underground. If you are on the E-train, the transfer lines are listed in the order: F-M-R-7-airport, making the window order correct: blue over orange-orange-yellow, with purple AND bird (flying=airport) unseen. The airport wouldn't count since it isn't a train, but since the icon appears on the station signs having the bird unseen solves that, as does having Tom missing leaving a single yellow.
Yeah I definitely think that this is the station (port) they are indicating 4 out of five ports cause you can't see the seven train from the subway station. Do you think it means anything that Roosevelt won the presidency after defeating Alton B Parker, who was also from NY, specifically from Cortland...?
