 		Before we start taking any major actions or revealing too much information, we really need to be sure of who is trustworthy. Although the ministry is gone, remember their aims were quite different to what they claimed. And don't forget O's comments at the start of this game - even though he may have helped us in the last game, he kept his motives well hidden and never revealed where, or to who, his loyalty lay.

horrified that O would recommend such an individual. However, it is late and I may be wrong here so I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

The core beliefs: Humanity needs the guiding light that shines upon society in many forms. in Victorian England, it resided in Lewtrenchard, and rested with our founder - hence his grave epitaph.
Now, it resides in the hearts an souls of all in the Silver Poplar, an organisation that seeks to close the gates to places of nightmare and fantasy, to being sense to the chaos and to remove the plight of those that call themselves Oborot.

Much to contemplate here. Some concerns too, especially when coupled with the words of Joel 2 as mentioned by O and on the Blog today.

 		I apologize that I have not kept the wiki up to speed...but some of you have made some great breakthroughs, and they should get posted! Please check out http://15days.wikia.com/wiki/Fifteen_Days_of_Darkness_Wiki . I wanted to do some wiki-ing yesterday but, um, got distracted by other things. I will try to do some later today...am not feeling well, but this is something that might clear up by the end of the day.

By the way, links to the wikis used during the previous 2 chapters of this saga can be found on the front page of the current wiki, if you're curious how we've used wikis before. They're great for collecting and organizing in one place all we know about different characters, mentions that have been made of certain themes, connections between ideas, facts, etc. ("consilience" has often come up)...you get the idea. It's just so much easier than digging through the forum thread for a piece of information you think you saw but can't quite place.

Further to "old men dreaming dreams", Vlad has been having some odd ones over on his facebook page, some featuring a church (not St Peter's)

I had a concern, following O's recent "everyone join the crew!" type messages which were a bit out of character, that his account had been hacked following the chatroom virus comments. I laid a fleece, asking a question only the real O should be able to answer, which he passed.

Interestingly, he justifies his new wolfprint yin yang image on Twitter with a passage from the Koran speaking of the need for balance between light and dark. Not quite the message Aspen seems to be putting out - and it's interesting Aspen refers to O by his ministry name. Could it be that O isn't as on message as he'd have us believe?

We've yet to clearly hear from the Oboroten, as far as we know, but I bet they're lurking and waiting. What's their side of the story?

I'm downloading SBG's book right now.

Also *hastily puts on a crash helmet for the inevitable trouting*, who or what is it in Aspen's blogspot picture? I've tin-eyed it but come up with nada. I see he mentioned it but, I don't recall seeing the image being discussed in any of the posts in this thread.

 		I'm trying to work that out. It appears to be a Celtic image, most likely of a saint due to the halo. But tracking down which one is tough. I wondered if it was St Peter due to the gatekeeping connection, or even if it was a representation of the Celtic figure Lew, but no silver hand.

Wonder if there's a link between trees and saints.

Edit. Got it!! It IS Saint Peter, sort of. The image Aspen uses is of Saint Petroc, who the parish church of St Peter's used to be dedicated to. Here's the full image:

I had to look it up, but zugzwang "describes a situation where one player is put at a disadvantage because he has to make a move – the player would prefer to pass and make no move. The fact that the player must make a move means that his position will be significantly weaker than the hypothetical one in which it were his opponent's turn to move."

That sure sounds like a warning to me.

Also, those first few sentences, particularly "Beasts of burnt evil bonify gloaming", look awfully like anagrams to me...

I wonder if the "Gravely understand.." part involves "Vlad" and if those sections mentioning evil involve "Silver" (I guess the Gravely Understand sentence could be "Silver" too). Big ass anagrams if they are anagrams. Shocked

 		Well, seems my absence has made me fall behind, not surprisingly. Well, O, caring as is, sure wants to fix that. He wanted me to contact Aspen, apparently.

So I've been reading up here, catching on to what's happening.. Or trying, at least. I wonder tho', how would you recommend I pick up again? 'Sending an email to Aspen' would be easy -- if I knew the address and what I'd be supposed to say/ask. Also, I heard talk of a book, I guess I'll go back and look for the address (I seem to recall it being posted).

 		The strange tweet from O. appears to be an anagram, but using the initial letters only - discarding 'Gravely Understand' and the last bit:

RBEQREBSBOBEBG

When you apply ROT13, it becomes

EORDEROFOBOROT

Which to me looks suspiciously like 'Order of Oborot'. Smile

I thought the initial 'E' was a bit odd, but took 'Gravely Understand:' rather like a cryptic crossword clue meaning 'Decode the following...'
