I hate to say this, but either:

a) Vlad is dead

b) Vlad is Oborot

or (and even worse)

c) Vlad has had the same treatment as Ben, and if Vlad reappears then he's no longer Vlad.

Either way, I think Vlad needs handling with care until we know for certain...the runes from Stuart warned of a person not being who they appear to be...and we know the meaning of 'sirin'.

Here's the question: if Jayden can swap bodies he could be of indeterminate age. How ancient is he? And there are also hints from Aspen that he's part of a long lineage. Could they be two sides of the same coin. Aspen couldn't make the meeting. Is that because Jayden was to become the dominant personality?

I think that's a distinct possibility, Dagada. One thing is for certain...we know very little about who is on which side exactly (or even if there are sides in the binary sense).

Has anyone broken the bad news to Claire?

Yes - without mentioning wolves and eating hearts and Anubis. She didn't believe me initially and thought I was joking, but my second mail seemed to at least make her on her guard.

I also forgot to say last night that the conversation with Genia ended really abruptly. It might be nothing, but it was unusual for Genia to end the conversation that way.

It was right at the time we were discussing Jayden's father.

EDIT:

When we were looking for Aspen's blog, I seem to remember in the chat we had with O that his words were "Find SBG's father's blog".

Does this mean perhaps that Aspen is SBG's father, and further to this, if Dagada is right, that JAD is SBG's father?

I know that sounds completely mad, but I'm sure O said find the father's blog.

It all seems to have gone rather quiet. None of the characters seem to be communicating - publically at least. Has anyone heard anything new recently?

We also had the note from Aspen at the ritual. Is there any chance of a scan of this?

O has twittered twice today in answer to mine and another questions, and scanning the note is a damn good idea, if I could recall where I put it :/

That biblical passage is concerning. If you read around it, it's David receiving news of the death of Saul (who he had a somewhat tempestuous relationship with) and Jonathon, David's best friend (and, some argue, possible lover).

Are we to understand it's not just Ben who's no longer with us?

It's, in part, a direct reference to his previous identity as Orpheus. And he specifically stated he's not talking about C/V.

Also, Vlad used to call himself the Owl. It could be a reference to him. If they know what he's capable of....... Uh oh.

Btw - Oborot have changed their login screen. Hearts, not trees. I can't access on my phone and my computer is being cruely abused by another at the mo. Can anybody find out what's going on in there?
