Please can we have some sort of diary/time line in the wave or a time line thread? maybe on wikibruce page?

That's an awesome in-game timeline, multipsych..etc...

I've merged it to the wiki at http://super8.wikibruce.com/Storysofar
It needs a little more notation, references and whatnot (link to other wiki pages or external sources and such) but it's great. Good work!

One more Thing ... From the Site and for the Conversation

He also at one point speeks of Buying a Compass - Why - and are we looking for that purchase also?

As for the Times thing
Another thought - If you post on his site the time is WAY off do wer need to use those times to check for site changes - This may all belong on the Site thread also.

-?Is it the PDP-11 as previously speculated. Who still uses that????

Let's not forget that the PDP-11 is just a *simulator* running on another computer. We are remoting into the other computer, and seeing the simulator running. I do find it possible that we're remoting into Josh's work computer. However, it could be more likely that we're seeing the desktop of the "other person", and they're looking into the film, etc. That's why their computer has the newspaper and sound file.

would it be possible then to assume that this isn't meant to be "remotely viewed" by outsiders by the 2 people conversing, but a Trojan/Virus/Keylogger type hack by the government/military cause he was picked up as a red flag and is being monitored? or would it be more correctly assumed to be an "in case i disappear, this is what happened" type thing?

Steg

Just wondering has anyone checked the photos to see if there is something more there. Using camoflage or steg detect. I am at work and can not. Just wondering cause some of the picture file sizes seem really big.

Thanks for the timeline. I've been working on something similar but for the entire timeline. It includes IG and "benchmark" occurrences from the mid-40s onto present day. It's a bit of a project so it might be a while before it's done.

Also, the date format took me a while to get used to. There is one bit I'm confused about.

Is a future date if using the d/m/yyyy format. I think you meant May 7th, 2010, though. I'll update the wiki since it has the future date on it.

Has anyone thought about trying to buy one of Minker's goods on craigslist?

CL Images

So far each of the Craigslist post has led to a clue or next step except for the green dress and sled. I wonder if we are missing anything there?

Another thing that appears in both the craig list photos and the print out photo are the drawing pins. The ones on the pin board in the back ground on the Swan,Cactus and Clock photos dont look like they have been put there at random.

Im probably just over analyzing things but......

I've been working on the note that is layered on top of the funeral notice.

I have a couple things figured out, but I'm struggling with it overall. Might be a dead end, but worth looking into.

I did some altering of the photo, it's attached. What I can make out is below, with unknown letters represented as dashes.

C--- Fo-- D--- (and then a character off to the side that looks like a 6)
White Sw--- (I think sword?) (and then the number 6 in a circle)
L-w (maybe?) S--- (and then the number 7 in a circle)

Any thoughts?

It's also worth commenting that the position of the funeral notice and water image are different on different craigslist posts.
