You can add tar balls and oil to you salt water fishing now here in Florida lol.And all you described doesnt sound like the part of florida I live in lol.

Yeah, the in-laws were telling me the tar balls where rolling in. So sad. I saw a picture of some guy surfing in Destin with Tar balls all around him. I am from the Pan Handle coastal area. I am willing to bet that if you lived in the Detroit area for 8 years what I described would sound exactly like Florida to you. Wait, I see you live in the Tampa area so maybe not. My brother lives in the Tampa metro area and it's pretty bad around there. But at least it don't snow from October to April.

Golden Ratio

Was a use ever found for the audio recording leading to the golden ratio?

Soon to be "I Deleted"?

How do you relate this to the ARG here?

I would like to remind our guest posters, in particular the above 'I Anonymous' aka tromatic that posting under multiple IDs is a violation of the Terms of Service of unFiction. To wit:
Quote:
Users of the Unfiction forums, whether registered or guest, are not to post under more than one identity. If you already have a registered account, do not register another (forgotten forum nicknames can be found - please contact a forum administrator for assistance). Guest posts are allowed in current Unfiction forums, as long as they comply with these Terms.

If this is broken too often by guests in this forum, it may be subject to disabling of all guest posting. This was done to the Cloverfield forum, and if the problem persists it will be done here as well - you'll ruin it for everyone else.

Play Nice.

I've been working on the note that is layered on top of the funeral notice.

I have a couple things figured out, but I'm struggling with it overall. Might be a dead end, but worth looking into.

I did some altering of the photo, it's attached. What I can make out is below, with unknown letters represented as dashes.

C--- Fo-- D--- (and then a character off to the side that looks like a 6)
White Sw--- (I think sword?) (and then the number 6 in a circle)
L-w (maybe?) S--- (and then the number 7 in a circle)

Any thoughts?

It's also worth commenting that the position of the funeral notice and water image are different on different craigslist posts.

I see what looks like: Dress, White Swan, Sled. Looks like an inventory of things he is selling.

but it's not a white swan, it's blue.

PRAGMA?
(Possibly OOG sites)

(Yes, I searched before posting)

On the STIES "page info" the word "pragma" is listed under "general."
Didn't it used to say "description"?

Hmmm ... Interesting that this company formed in May, 2010: http://pragma.jp/
And this one popped up June, 2010: http://pragma.org/
*****The only reason I posted these sites was due to the fact I could not locate any information on whether they are real companies or not.*****

Both sites seem to be Information Gathering/Storage Facilities.

the Pragma.jp is a management and marketing company, I think its legit, although it says they do management and marketing for a Jay Abrham. Not the J.J we all love.

The pragma.org Ive got no idea... my Japanese is basic.

I'm 100% sure these are out of game. Just check the WHOIS for both of them:
http://whois.domaintools.com/pragma.jp
http://whois.domaintools.com/pragma.org

Both of them completely different from the other known in-game domains. Both also registered WAY before the start of the game.

hey who noted this before on sties 1=Y, I just wanted to add that it's only after you run the command /desktop/Braegen14/expcnv.dat that it changes...

do we have conclusion is the i love you mom in or out of the game?

just wondering if a=b can be linked to anything.

Just a side note: the numbers input correctly at the opening of the pdp-11 sim and after entering the ".reenter" command. We only get the number to letter substitution at the command prompt after the files are loaded.
