Droid X designate #16 is considered by some to be in the Midwest. It's considered by most to be amazing.
COME ON SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN YOU CAN DO IT

sweet, we just went from at least 12 to at least 16 hidden.
Anyone notice the glitch with #7? they first placed it in a warmer climate, then in the Pacific Northwest.

And that's only in base 10! Imagine how many there could be if they're using base 16!
Also, now we're up to 17:
Droid X designate #17 is near a major metropolitan area. Wait. Did we just say Droid X designate #17?

Let's see...

Droid X designate #17 can take just about anything you throw at it. Just like the people where it landed.
That with being in a large metro area, I'm thinking of atleast 3 different US cities, LA, Chicago, and New York.
As for

Workers here built the rocket that went to the moon. They might think Droid X designate #8 came back from there.
They would be referencing the Saturn V rocket.
Stage 1 - New Orleans
Stage 2 - Seal Beach, Cali
Stage 3 - Huntington Beach, Cali
And an instrument unit built in Huntsville, Alabama. The overall unit was assembled at Kennedy Space Center. It could also be included as "built" when it was full assembled.
Just a thought.

Has anybody gone to Lombard Street and searched?
Droid designate #3 is using all its 1Ghz processing power just to navigate Lombard St.

Droid X designate #16 is showing the "Show Me State" hdmi, 4.3" screen and 720p video capture.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I think my last chance might be #13, which can almost see Canada.

don't give up yet, 14 might be right over the border. The midwest states that have a northern cardinal as the state bird are Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana, and Ohio is likely number 12. I'd imagine there will be one near Chicago

Few updates today.

Droid X designate #20 is…. Did it again, didn't we?
So there's still plenty more opportunity.

Droid X designate #13 is in the birth state of both Stan Lee and his favorite state motto. If he saw a Droid X, he might say "Excelsior!"
#13 is in New York State (birth state of Stan Lee). The state motto is "Excelsior" which also happens to be the name of a comic book written by Stan Lee.

Droid X designate #5 is near a grassy knoll. Shooting HD.
Which should put it somewhere in West End, Dallas. It's about time I make a trip downtown.
ETA: Another one just now.

Droid designate #10 has landed. This state is big enough for two Droid X phones. And their 4.3" screens.
Which probably means there is another Droid in Texas. Houston? Austin? San Antonio? El Paso?

I'm thinking 10 is in Southern California, with 3 being in Northern CA

Droid X designate #10 is in high heat, low humidity and pure processing power.
now up to 21

Back to the east coast for a Droid designate #21 sighting. Tell the family you'll be late.

Have *any* been found at all yet? 'cause these clues aren't particularly accurate, ya know...

I don't believe any have been found yet. It seems their taking their time and narrowing it down to cities right now and we'll see more specifics within the next week. Droid X goes on sale on July 15th. It might be just a few days prior to that that they will actually be found.
BTW I ran across another forum with 40+ pages of posts.
The competition looks stiff. Some have already started scouring the streets at suspected locations. There's at least 3 guys on that board that want the Dallas drop so badly that I'll have to be ready to leave at the drop of the hat if I want a chance at it.
ETA: There is a bit of controversy over some Droid X phones that have showed up at people's doorsteps these last couple of days.
