[LOCKED] ??? Don't know what happened???

 		??? Don't know what happened???
Somebody PLEASE tell me that I am not the only one who received the weirdest call of their life right now (Nov 1, 3:35 GMT). Shocked Shocked Shocked

The phone rang, and I picked it up. There was silence for a moment, then some very staticky music started playing, and I could hear a woman's voice saying something VERY closely resembling "aquapoli" (notice the missing "s"). There was like a voice-over of man, but I couldn't tell at all what he was saying - probably because I was simultaneously FREAKED OUT and frantically looking for a way to record this... all I managed was to turn the intercome on, so my boyfriend heard it. They could have my number because I just called metacortechs today about 2-3 hours ago (xnbomb can back me up on that).

And, omg, the metacortechs page just freaked out!!!

Somebody PLEASE call the main switchboard - I think they store phone #s in their caller ID, and then call you back with this recording Shocked Shocked

 		I don't think they get Caller ID from ous call to switchboard. I called using my cellphone but their call came to my home phone. Weird. Must have pulled it from one of the e-mails, perhaps the Beta signup

I could swear I never signed up for anything. But, when the game began, I called them from work. If indeed they store phone#s from caller ID, they'd call my work # as well. And, as I am not there right now, they'd probably go to voicemail - so maybe we do have a recording Very Happy

 		Oh, okay so apparently I was the wrong one when I said you were stupid if you post your phone number in this ARG... Crying or Very sad And now because I gave them a 555 phone number I guess I'll be missing out on this action. Oh well. I just hope the puzzle isn't solved over the phone. (Please PMs for the sake of those of us who do not have access to this action don't let it end that way).
